We are pleased to welcome Dr. David Moheban as the new director of Advanced Dental. Dr. Moheban is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Moheban has over 20 years of experience in general dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, Mass Dental Society and is a Spear affiliated dentist. Dr. Moheban is also an Invisalign certified provider and an experienced cad-cam dentist. As such he believes in providing state of the art, comprehensive care that is tailored to fit into the lives and budgets of his patients including adults and children alike. Dr. Moheban has also completed over forty hours of continuing education per year, and has taken multiple post graduate courses in dentistry.
Dr. Moheban is a very compasionate individual who believes in giving the best care possible and has in the past helped the less fortunate through his work with non-profit organizations providing community services to promote and deliver oral health care in underserved areas of massachusetts. One of the things he enjoys most about dentistry is how changing a patients smile can transforms their lives. Dr. Mohebans father is a dentist, and he got plenty of up-close-and-personal looks at the field because of that familial connection. He also knew that he wanted to help others as part of his lifelong career, and oral healthcare seemed like an amazing way to do so. The work turned out to be a perfect fit for his talents, and today, he cant imagine doing anything else!
After attending both U-Mass Amherst and Brandeis University, Dr. Moheban pursued his DMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Outside of traditional schooling, he continues to be very passionate about the constant development of new technology and does his best to stay up to date with the latest tools and techniques. In particular, hes a member of SPEAR Education and is certified in CAD/CAM technology through CEREC.
