The doctors that work here are amazing but the receptionist is so rude it ruined my experience.. I would go to a different location if I were you just because of how I was treated here

Terrible experience, very unfriendly, door was still locked at 730am when they open at 7am. I arrived early for my 8am appointment to fill out paperwork at 730am as instructed. Upon arrival door was still locked. Knocked on the door and the lady at the desk looked at me and continued about her day. Called the location. Two people watched the phone ring and no answer. Another person showed up to their appointment and had to wait in the hall for me for about 10 to 15 minutes before they came to open the door. The receptionist was rude. They struggled to find both of our appointments. Prior to coming I had asked for sedation for both of my appointments from my referral to them when scheding the appointments they said that was fine. Upon confirming the appointment a day prior was told neither was scheduled that way and they couldn't do it for either day and would have to either just deal with the local anesthesia or reschedule or find a new endodontist to do the procedure. I don't understand why I was being bullied into a procedure I wasn't comfortable with and that I was the one being impacted by people not following the referral or properly processing the paperwork to begin with. Went to my root canal appointment anyways as rescheduling and taking more time off of work would be too inconvenient. Once I was in the chair and new x-rays were taken was told that the root canal wouldn't be possible and to just have the tooth extracted. Big waste of time and money to have to take off work and not be able to do the procedure I wasn't comfortable with in the first place because of all the lack of professionalism. Will never go back here and will be looking for a new endodontist to go to.

DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT HERE. Worst experience Ive ever had at any medical or dental practice in my life. Wish I wouldve read the reviews before. Was quoted $600 for 2 wisdom teeth extractions, with my insurance covering 80% over the phone. Then I arrive at the office and all of a sudden my insurance covers nothing and the cost is $1000 out of pocket. I then spoke with Christine the billing manager who told me its impossible for them to check codes with my health insurance since they are a dental prractice even though i had just waited 20 minutes for somebody to check if my insurance would cover the codes given. Then I was told that if I pay out of pocket today my insurance will reimburse me later. This place is a total SCAM that just wants your cash. Absolutely taking advantage of people who have planned time off for recovery and are in pain so they will be more willing to pay up front. Gladly I walked out and reschedule d with an honest company who had no problem running my insurance codes. These people are liars and cheats.

Oral surgeon was good. Double checked referral and made sure no pain for my daughter. The rest of the practice not good. Waited 1 and a half hours in the waiting room (we were 10 min early). No courtesy updates until I said something. Waited another half hour while in the room. The assistant was not friendly, very inefficient, did not introduce herself at all even after she started putting instruments into my daughter's mouth. She made me nervous because she would have things in my daughter's mouth and turned around twice to tell me to sit. I don't know if it's ok with her, but for me and my family, keep your eyes where your hands are at all times while doing surgery and things like that, you know what I mean?

I agree with Tyler- I read up on what my dental insurance covers and honestly thought my root canal was covered at Advanced Dental, which was the main reason that I went there, but when I arrived, I was told the same thing-that I needed to pay $700 out of pocket and my insurance would reimburse me if it was, in fact, covered. Turns out that not only was it not covered, but I have a balance of another $771! I did some research on root canal pricing and for a pre-molar, the MOST expensive procedure would be $1100. Somehow mine was $1661! Paying that kind of money, I could have gone somewhere that they give you headphones, a tv screen to watch, and gas. I'm a very nervous patient, but nothing was offered to me. Very disappointed.

Had all my paperwork filled out, the receptionist even told me that everything was all set in order. 5 minutes before I get taken in, I'm told that they don't accept my insurance. I've double and triple checked with my insurance and this place was listed as compatible. Said it was because they thought I had this one type of insurance but there was a one letter difference so they couldn't take it, probably trying to get me on their repayment plan but that's my bold assumption. Receptionist was super helpful and understanding, also didn't charge me a cancellation fee which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I'd avoid this place if you don't want to kill an hour of your life.

Very rude & unprofessional. My girlfriend had an appointment at 7am, we got there at 7am only to have the receptionist tell us "she didn't think her appointment was until 7:30am." Both I & My girlfriend were belittled by multiple employees including the oral surgeon Dr. O. We were talked to as if we were dumb and our concerns were ignored rather than answered. My girlfriend needs to have 4 wisdom teeth removed. My girlfriend has PTSD, she wanted me to be in the room when the consultation & procedure occurred. They were having problems about me even coming into a consultation but finally agreed to allow me in. When speaking to Dr. O. I said that my girlfriend would like to have me in the room when the procedure occurs. Dr. O. tells me thats against company policy but cannot tell me why i can't be in the room simply that its against company policy? Very strange. This has nothing to do with Covid-19 mind you. Me & my girlfriend live together, if she was asymptomatic with Covid-19 we'd both have it. Also they only check your temperature and ask you basic questions about if you have been in contact with Covid-19. Masks & social distancing are not being enforced. Personally i have had teeth removed from other dentists and it was never an issue having someone in the room to comfort me. When i asked him if there was cameras in the operating room, he told me that "i wasn't his patient and didn't need to answer my questions". Then proceeded to attempt to ignore me for the rest of the visit. After going back and forth with my girlfriend she told him that she would like a recommendation for a female oral surgeon at which point Dr. O. agreed to give her a recommendation. After leaving the room, we could hear him down the hallway talking negatively about me & my girlfriend. Absolutely unprofessional, who talks negatively about the patient in front of them? I told Dr. O. I can hear him down the hallway speaking about me & my girlfriend. At this point he creates a big scene and refuses to give my girlfriend a recommendation even after saying he would. After reading the other reviews about the terrible billing and unprofessionalism, im very glad to say that you won't be receiving any business from us. It's a shame businesses like this are allowed to operate or even receive any sort of deal or funding from insurance companies when they are clearly crooks. Quack dentist save yourself time, money, & a headache go to a better dentist.

Dr. Kugelmann is highly skilled and I highly recommend her. It would be helpful for patients leaving treatment to be advised as to potential outcomes and medications. 26 hours after my first root canal I had significant pain, swelling and sensitivity. I was panicked as it had been discussed that the root canal might not work and I might have to have an extraction. After hours of reaching out, I learned this was a normal outcome and the medications advised worked beautifully. I could have been saved hours of distress had I been alerted to this possible outcome and given pain management advice upon discharge.
