Dr. Dale Burke graduated from theUniversity of Michigan Dental Schoolin 1985. Following graduation, he served with the Indian Health Service, directing the dental programs in Rosebud, South Dakota, and Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Dr. Burke grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but in his heart the draw of the wilderness of the Last Frontier was never far from his mind. His lifelong desire to live in Alaska came to pass in 1992 when he was accepted into the Two-year Advanced General Practice Residency at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Earning his certificate in 1994, Dr. Burke separated from IHS and opened his dental practice in Eagle River.
Through the years, Dr. Burke continued his passion to be at the forefront of dentistry through advanced training beyond his Residency, with over a thousand hours of continued education, mostly in the field of prosthodontics. He is currently completing a fellowship in Gneuromuscular TMJ therapy fromOcclusion Connections in Las Vegas Nevada. His training and experience have given him the skills necessary to handle even the mostcomplex restorative, cosmetic, missing teeth and TMJ cases, all in a comforting manner. Dr. Burke focuses on assisting his patients in achieving dental health and confident smiles.
Dr. Burke and his wife Joyce have been married since 1985 and their family has grown to five adult children, all of whom reside in Alaska. They all enjoy the many adventures that Alaska offers, including hiking, skiing, fishing, hunting, and ATV rides. Joyce also enjoys it when he takes her to the many concert and play opportunities at the PAC. They also enjoy travel, especially their annual trip to Kenya, where they help support the Arrowhead Childrens home and Community Center near Bumala.
Dr. Burke has extensive experience in providing dental care in remote villages in western Alaska, and currently continues to provide prosthodontics dental services for the citizens of Unalakleet, located 400 miles west of Anchorage.

The staff at Advanced Dental Solutions are possibly the best dental staff I've ever had. Eileen was effective and efficient and didn't cause all of the pain I usually get during x-rays. Dr. Burke was knowledgeable and quickly designed a plan not only to fix my teeth, but an excessive overbite that has been plaguing me for decades. MUCH more importantly, Nicole in the front office worked diligently with insurances and other medical professionals to make sure all of my needs were met and covered by insurance, all while my teeth were being expertly cleaned by Angela. This is absolutely my dentist for life...

The staff are very helpful and professional. Dr Burke and the hygienists are very gentle when working on your teeth. The place is very clean.

Ashamed to say I'd neglected my teeth for years and finally decided to take care of them, Dr. Burke and his staff made me feel so comfortable and came up with a treatment plan (and I'm almost done!). I can't say enough good things about this dental office, everyone is so caring and excellent at what they do. My husband has even started coming here after years of no treatment and he's very pleased as well.

I've been seeing Dr. Burke for TMJ treatment for the last three years. His innovative approach evaluates all aspects of treatment from jaw position, to muscle tension and more. I have been migraine free for almost three years because of his treatment plan and dental appliance. If you get migraines or have TMJ problems, I cannot recommend Dr. Burke enough!

I have been a patient of Dr Burke's for the past three years and before that Dr. Williams. Dr. Burke is patient and gentle. He has the best chair side manner, makes you totally feel at ease! I love his hygienist Angela, she is thorough and gentle and it's always nice to see her smiling face . I totally recommend trying them if you want to go to a small practice that feels like you will be taken care of with compassion, caring and quality dentistry!
