Dr. Yvonne DeWitte is originally from Baltic, South Dakota. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1992, Dr. DeWitte attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry where she graduated in 1996 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Prior to practicing in South Dakota, Dr. DeWitte practiced in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for 7 years. In 2003, Dr. Yvonne, her husband (Matthew) and son (Gilbert) moved back to Sioux Falls to be closer to family. In 2004, Dr. DeWitte established Advanced Dental to allow her to put her own personal touch on dentistry. Dr. DeWitte is active in various dental groups including: the South Dakota Dental Association, the Southeastern District Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the Siouxland Dental Implant Study Club.
Dr. DeWitte spends her free time following her son's many muscial activities at the Augustana University School of Music. Dr. DeWitte also enjoys traveling, relaxing with friends and sitting back and savoring a great latte or cappuccino. The DeWitte family has a Shih Tzu dog named Andy and an Elenora cockatoo named Lilikoi.
Changing peoples lives through their smiles is Dr. DeWittes and Advanced Dentals goal. Dr. DeWIttes focus on not only on preventative care but also on cosmetic dentistry helps her achieve this goal. Dr. DeWitte prides herself on being able to put patients at ease with her caring, fun-loving and talkative nature. NikkiOne of our Front Desk professionals, Nikki and her husband, Brian, live on the West side of Sioux Falls. Nikki is the proud mother of Miranda, who is a pharmacist at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida and Joshua, who is currently a graduate student at Concordia College in Saint Paul, studying orthotics and prosthetics. Nikki loves traveling and has visited almost every island in the Caribbean. Nikki looks forward to being on of the friendly faces that will welcome you on your next visit.
LindaLinda is one of our Front Desk professionals. Linda lives in Sioux Falls with her husband Tim, and their Cavalier King Charles, Percy. Both of her adult children also live in the area, which makes spoiling her grandchildren a frequent occurrence. In her spare time, Linda enjoys scrapbooking, shopping and decorating. Our insurance specialist, Linda will try her hardest to insure you get the full benefits you deserve.
MattAdvanced Dental's Business Manager and a Sioux Falls native, Matt graduated from O'Gorman High School and then obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. After spending several years in both Lincoln, NE, and Eau Claire, WI he returned to Sioux Falls with his wife to raise their son Gilbert.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family, especially in Kauai, their second home'. Matt and his wife are also huge supporters of the Augustana University School of Music, where their son attends, and take every opportunity to attend the various live musical performances.
JennJenn, one of our dental hygienists and a Rapid City native, graduated from the University of South Dakota 1992. Jenn and her husband, Chad, have lived in Sioux Falls since 2010. Their son, Chase, graduated from SDSU with a degree in nursing. He is now working in the ICU for Sanford Health. Their daughter, Brooklin, is currently a nursing student at USF. Jenn enjoys getting to know her patients and looks forward to helping you with your dental needs.
Danyelle Danyelle, one of our dental assistants, received her Dental Assisting Diploma, DANB certification and Associates Degree of Science from Western Iowa Tech, where she graduated with Honors. Danyelle grew up in Dell Rapids, SD and is currently living in Sioux Falls.
Danyelle enjoys spending her time traveling, hiking the outdoors, cooking and baking (especially experimenting with new recipes), reading and spending time with family, friends and the family's fur babies. Danyelle loves the challenge of continually researching and educating herself in many areas of her life. Her favorite part of her job is building relationships with patients of all ages.
ChantelOne of our dental assistants, Chantel received her Dental Assisting Degree in 2004 from Des Moines Community College. Chantel and her husband, Blake, live in Harrisburg, SD with their two children, Cayden and Chloe.
Chantel enjoys attending her daughter's cheer and dance competitions and watching her son play football and soccer. She looks forward to meeting her patients and making them feel comfortable while at Advanced Dental.
