Dr. Studer grew up in Rapid City and Sioux Falls, SD, graduating from Rapid City Stevens in 1989. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1993 from the University of South Dakota, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Dr. Studer earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy and began his private practice in Rapid City, South Dakota in June of 2001. In 2008, he received the Young Dentist of the Year Award from the South Dakota Dental Association.
In addition to providing the highest quality of dental care for his patients, Dr. Studer has lectured for the Partners of Prevention Program for the Coalition of Oral Health for South Dakota. The programs goal is to instruct doctors in residency about early childhood caries and the importance of getting children into a dental home by age 1. He is the South Dakota state coordinator for the Special Smiles Program with South Dakota Special Olympics. He has participated in February Childrens dental health month by visiting 3rd graders to discuss dental health care. He is a member of dental organizations, such as Academy of Sports Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Dakota Dental Association and Black Hills Dental Society. He served asPresident for the Black Hills Dental Society in 2004-2005.
Dr. Studer is active in his community. In 2014-2015 he was the President of Arrowhead Country Club. He was a coach for Little League baseball for 10 years. He supports youth sports by sponsoring or donating to basketball teams, soccer teams, Little League baseball, Post 22 baseball, Post 320 baseball, Stevens High School Booster Club, Canyon Lake All-Stars and Just Jymnastics. As the only South Dakota registered Academy of Sports Dentistry, Dr. Studer is the Official Dentist for the Rapid City Rush Hockey team.
During his leisure time, he and his family enjoy snow skiing, spending time boating and camping at the lake and playing outdoor activities like golf, baseball, tennis, and basketball. He is a movie fan and especially loves superhero and science fiction movies.
Dr. Lemmon was raised in Pocatello, Idaho and received his undergraduate degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology with a minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Lemmon is a member of the South Dakota Dental Association, the American Dental Association and is excited to be part of the dental family at Advanced Dental Professionals.
Dr. Lemmon and his wife have one son and a baby girl on the way. He looks forward to raising his young family in Rapid City and already feels at home within this great community. He is an avid movie fan and technology nerd. He enjoys skiing, boating, or simply spending time with his family.

I was so scared and embarrassed of my teeth but they made me feel so good about it!!? Very, VERY nice individuals working there!!! And without insurance the price is way way lower than I originally thought!!! Yes, I would highly recommend!!

I love this dental office! I have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr Studer is great. He listens and takes into consideration what I want and what is best for me. All of the employees have been super nice and helpful and they work with you on any issues that may arise. Best dentist in Rapid City!

We love Advanced Dental! My kids were so excited to go to the dentist. I think that speaks volumes of their whole staff! Everyone is so friendly and easy to work with. Dr. Studer is a great dentist! I would recommend them to anyone!

After calling 15 dental clinics who all refused Tricare, I finally found Advanced Dental who accepts Tricare! The staff and the doctor were all very friendly. Highly recommend!
