In addition to authenticity, tooth-colored fillings are also supportive to the tooth structure that remains. Bonded to the tooth, a composite or porcelain filling can significantly minimize the risk of further damage from expansion with temperature changes in the mouth. I made an appt with this office weeks in advance. When I spoke to the receptionist she asked for my insurance information as usual. What she didn't tell me is that they are now out of network for my insurance provider. This was not the case in the past. I didn't find out until I got in the chair and my hygienist told me!! I did not keep my appt as they could not tell me what if anything my insurance would cover. Unbelievably unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. It will be weeks again before I can get an appointment with anyone else. The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because I really like the hygienist and am disappointed I will have to find a new one. I would love to send the office a bill for my wasted time! 1 star after the response from the owner basically calling me a liar. It's not difficult to look up my name and the date of my appt. Talk about unprofessional!! Waste my time and then call me a liar for complaining. Based on the response I wouldn't expect a change in their practice of not telling ppl if they accept their insurance.
