Dr. Holton was born and raised in Montana and attended college at Montana State University and then went on to Dental School at Oregon Health Science University in Portland. After dental school, Dr. Holton moved to southern Oregon and built a large family and cosmetic practice in Medford for the past 26 years; his passion is creating beautiful smiles and healthy mouths. His practice became his second family and his team and patients were with him for many years!
At Montana State, Dr. Holton met his beautiful wife Karen in Medford where they raised two wonderful girls. Their girls found a love for the sun and are now attending the School of Nursing together at Arizona State University in Tempe.
For the past five years, Dr. Holton and his wife have frequently traveled to their condo in Arizona to spend time with their girls and recently made what they refer to as a difficult decision to move where their hearts now belong. They have become permanent Arizona residents and they could not be happier with their decision! Dr. Holton is happy to have found the opportunity at Advanced Dental Health because the feel of the office and team reminds him of the office that he had in Medford.
Dr. Heath Snell believes in providing professional sedation surgical services in the comfortable and convenient environment of a general dentist office. He joins the Advanced Dental Health team to perform in-house wisdom teeth removal and sedation for our patients receiving dental treatments.
Dr. Snell graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University for his undergraduate studies. He then attended the University Of Colorado School Of Dentistry where he pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was nominated into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society along with receiving several awards and honors while in dental school. A one-year course of study in Advanced Education in General Dentistry following his graduation from dental school provided Dr. Snell with the required training to be certified to perform extraction of wisdom teeth and IV sedation.
Dr. Snell is a native of Mesa, AZ and he and his wife Chelsea and 5 children now reside in Gilbert, AZ. He is very active in his church and community, enjoys athletic sports, and has participated on City football and basketball teams. His hobbies include watching or playing sports and photography.
April is a Registered Dental Hygienist and is originally from Santa Rosa, California and loves the Arizona weather. She is an avid sand volleyball player and also enjoys spending time with her four nephews and lounging by the pool.
Carley graduated from Dental Assisting School in 2016 is a good old Midwestern girl and is originally from Wisconsin. She has lived in some fun locations in the south such as Kentucky and Tennessee and has now fallen in love with Arizona and is ready to call this beautiful warm state home! In her free time, Carley loves to spend time with her boyfriend going to the movies, the pool and enjoys playing with their Golden Doodle Griffey.
Laura is an Indiana University alumni and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2003. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is providing quality, compassionate care for her patients. Lauras friendly personality overflows in all she does and patients often feel theyve made a new friend when they leave our office. Laura enjoys helping anxious patients gain confidence and have pleasant dental experiences.
Shelly has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Southwest Minnesota State University. She grew up in Minnesota and moved here with her husband in 2014 to get away from the snow and cold weather. Together they have four grown children and three adorable grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, camping, playing pickleball, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Shelly works with the entire ADH team to make sure that your experience with our office is amazing! She also loves to work with patients to help them find ways to get their treatment done. Whether it's a large or small case, she will help you find creative ways to finance your treatment if needed to help get you healthy.
Wynter graduated from Highland High School in 2020 and has lived in Nevada and New Mexico before coming to Arizona. In her free time, Wynter likes to go shopping, hang out with her friends, babysit and dogsit and she loves to travel to the East Coast to visit her boyfriend!
Wynter is the face behind all the communication from the office. Starting with a phone call, to a text to your phone, Wynter keeps the office organized and patients informed of when they will come in to see us! We call her the 'Schedule Guru'.
