Each dentist has a distinct philosophy of diagnosis and care. Ours is based upon functional principles of Occlusion, or the manner in which your teeth fit together and work for you. Dr. Pat Prendergast grew up in the Sandhills of Nebraska, vacationing each summer in the land that would be his eventual home. After attending the University of Notre Dame, he completed his education at Creighton University, graduating with a DDS degree in 1982.
Michelle is from East Lansing, Michigan and graduated as a dental hygienist from Ferris State University in 2009. But dont let her love for Michigan State sway you away from her passion for dentistry.
Amber has been in dentistry for over 17 years. She is originally from Monterey, California but has been in Denver for nearly 10 years. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Business and Human Resources.
Hayley has been in Dentistry for over 12 years. She was born in Texas but raised in Highlands Ranch. She set out to be a Dental Hygienist in college, but her love of art sent her in a different direction, and she graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in Graphic Design
Janie has been working with Advanced Dental Health since 1982.She loves people, and is a self taught computer graphic designer. Most of her office duties are devoted to the managerial side of this practice. She is our 24/7 I.T. troubleshooter, but can often be found enjoying a conversation with the many clients she has come to know so well over these years. She has a zest for life that comes through in everything she tackles.

He and his spouse Janie soon moved to Denver and began their private practice career. They have enjoyed the Rocky Mountain region in many ways while raising a family and making this area their home. They remain actively involved in constant education to improve their skills, many charities and their church. His practice of dentistry is governed by that simple concept of treating your patients as you would treat your family.
For his entire career, Dr. Prendergast has been a member of the local, state, and national dental societies. He has served the public by working on various committees, councils, special projects within those societies. His longest service was in the area of Public Relations/Peer Review, where he chaired the state level council for this important service to consumers. He has presented table clinics, demonstrations, and been a spokesperson for Biolase Technologies, teaching the use and incorporation of laser technology into dental practices in the Rocky Mountain region. He has participated in dental mission trips to Juarez, Mexico, and remains actively involved with many charities providing pro bono dental care to patients, including the Colorado Mission of Mercy, Foundation for Dentistry for the Handicapped, Stout Street Program, and Smile Again Program. He is currently a board member for the Metropolitan Denver Dental Foundation, the sponsor of the Smile Again Program which restores healthy smiles to victims of domestic abuse.
Dr. Prendergast remains committed to sharing his knowledge, talents, and resources with our community and world. His life away from dentistry centers on family, friends, fishing, learning, and traveling.

Had an amazingly thorough visit today with Dr. Pat! My needs were met, my concerns were listened to, and I felt very comforted during my appointment. The whole team is very knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend!

Advanced Dental Health is literally the best place I have ever been to in my life! Dr. Z is the best of the best! He has an eye for detail that is like no other. He goes above and beyond to be sure his work is quality. He is kind and understanding and helps me feel so at ease. When he explains things I can tell he really knows his stuff. Shanna is the best hygienist on this planet. I used to have dental anxiety getting my teeth cleaned especially deep cleaning. With Her knowledge and experience, I have overcome my dental anxiety and can actually relax while getting my teeth cleaned. My teeth feel amazing and I can tell they have been thoroughly cleaned. Marissa is the best front desk/admin staff, extremely professional and always schedules me around my availability. Professional, friendly and personable staff and a great place to get any dental work!!

Update 1_2021 Where to start with this joke of a dentist. After visiting a real dentist, I was informed most the info given from pat was false and incorrect. There was one incident where one of pats assistants worked on the wrong tooth. How the hell do you work on the wrong tooth? This is your career. Time to retire pat and take those clown assistants with you.

Advanced Dental Health has a professional stable staff with little or no turnover which tells me they function in a desirable work environment. The patients' best interests come first. They are practicing serious Covid-19 safety protocols - no worry there.

Dr. Pat and his crew are always friendly, competent, gentle and professional. The office is spotless with an excellent ventilation system and PPE worn by all staff with patients spaced to minimize contact between patients (if any). I have been going to Advanced Dental for all my Dental needs for over 30 years and am very satisfied with everything I have had done (crowns, fillings, inlays, onlays, cleanings/preventive care).

Dr. Pat is the dentist you should go to if you loathe going to the dentist. He is so gentle and so funny and kind. He and I always talk and make jokes about life in addition to my teeth and gums. He makes everyone feel very comfortable and valued. He's extremely skilled at his craft as well. And I adore the rest of the amazing staff as well. Peggy is friendly and welcoming, and so knowledgeable about dental insurance coverage. Everyone on staff makes me feel so welcome and going there feels like I'm just visiting friends. I cannot recommend them enough. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE my dentist. Not a common thing!
