Dr. Lewis Chen was born and raised in New York. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and graduated top of his class with highest honors and distinction. Due to his outstanding clinical performance, leadership, and selfless contributions to Columbia, he was one of few to be nominated and inducted into the only renowned, national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). After graduation, he completed his residency at the Bronx VA, which is nationally known to be the most prestigious,competitive, and comprehensive program in the country due to its strong focus on full-mouth reconstructions, cosmetics, prosthodontics, endodontics,and oral surgery.
Throughout his high school, college, and dental school years, he actively served as a tutor and mentor up until private practice. Because of his commitment in teaching and education, he also serves as Instructor of Clinical Dental Medicine at his dental school alma mater. He carries his passion for teaching from the classroom setting into a dental office by educating patients so that they can begin to take control of their oral health and make informed and calculated decisions. His primaryfocus is to cater to patients and exceed their expectations.
Dr. Ahmed received his Bachelors in Dental Surgery degree in 2009. After spending time in private practice abroad, he continued his education at NYU College of Dentistry. He has been practicing in the field for 10 years.
Dr. Ahmed truly enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a hunger for education. His areas of special interests include Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, and Full-Mouth Reconstructions. Dr. Ahmeds approach to dentistry is one that is defined by constant learning and innovation as the field of dentistry is constantly changing with new technologies and treatment techniques available.
He believes that communication between patient and dentist is critical to a successful relationship. He always makes sure that his patients are educated about all procedures, all treatment options are well explained and all their questions have been answered to their complete satisfaction.
Dr. Gloria Andrews is a Brooklyn, New York native. Dr. Andrews completed a prestigious seven year joint degree program where she began her studies at Adelphi University and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, she set out to complete a one-year general practice residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Dr. Andrews is a personable and relatable dentist. In her free time she enjoys fitness and spending time with her husband, family and friends. She takes pride in the fact that she cares deeply for her patients. She is known for providing thorough explanations of dental procedures and quality treatment in all fields. Dr. Andrews leaves no question unanswered when it comes to a patients oral health. Furthermore, she keeps her education up to date and is an active member of the Seattle Study Club. She loves to share her deeply rooted passion for dentistry and guarantees that your next trip to the dentist will be a painless, successful visit.
Dr. Sarang Choi is a warm and caring general dentist who has training in comprehensive restorative dentistry which allows her to treat complex restorative cases including full mouth cosmetic rehabilitation. She is also trained in CAD/CAM and Digital Dentistry focused on aesthetic aspects of dentistry. Dr. Choi found her passion in dentistry and set her sights on becoming a dentist while she was attending dental hygiene school in Korea. She remembers her own fear of dental treatments as a little girl which enabled her to understand dental phobic patients and put them at ease with her gentle chair-side manner. She provides a variety of treatments not limited to fillings, crowns, bridges but also extractions, root canals and Invisalign to offer comprehensive dental care for her patients.
Advanced Dental Group of Hobokens approach to dental care deeply resonates with Dr. Chois beliefs. Her philosophy of dentistry is to utilize biological knowledge to fill in the gap between medicine and dentistry in order to provide a more personalized smile and overall health for every patient. Dr. Choi also believes in the importance of continuing education and she is committed to staying current with the latest cutting edge technology and advances in dentistry by attending continuing education courses.

Phenomenal service. Just came in for a whitening so can't comment on other services. Happy with the results - finished 2 out of 3 rounds and have had very minimal sensitivity after. Dominique did an awesome job - would come back

I have significant anxiety around going to the dentist and the whole staff is very sweet and accommodating. They never make me feel embarrassed or like a burden for needing the extra level of comfort. They also are very thorough and explain all steps to what will be done prior to any procedure. Billing follows up beforehand to alert you to costs so that there are no surprises. Thank you all for going the extra mile so I can take care of my dental health without stress!

After searching for a new dentist in Hoboken, I decided on Advanced Dental Group, and I'm so glad I did! I went in for a routine cleaning/exam and everyone I encountered during my visit was extremely friendly and professional - the penthouse views were a plus! Akshay, my hygienist, did an outstanding job and ensured I was comfortable and informed throughout the whole process. Overall a 10/10 experience and looking forward to my next cleaning!

AMAZING practice! All the employees are so kind and friendly. The office is hygienic and efficient in a very nice penthouse! I had Dr. Vazquez for a procedure and she was so quick, experienced and knowledgeable, as well as super friendly with a gentle hand that made the process even more painless. Very happy with this office.

I had a Great experience with Dr Vazquez and Rana. I got my cavities filled and the experience was just lovely. Dr Vazquez is very kind and friendly. She did a great job. The reception lady did a terrible job. She lie to me twice that she would send my visit records and payment info to my email box but never did. I requested this information in person when I was at their office. It is ridiculous. I don't know what to do now since I really need this info in order to get reimbursed from my insurance. She has no respect to the clients. Very disappointed. How hard is it to just send info that client asked for? Especially I have repeatedly addressed the urgency and importance?! She did not care at all. I'll give the receipt desk zero star if I can. Advanced dental group of ahoboken, please give me a call back if you can see this comments. I'm not using my real name here so don't excuse yourself that I'm not a true patient. Because I am.

Dr. Vasquez and Akshay were super kind and helpful. Akshay was my dental hygienist and was very gentle throughout the whole process. I felt at ease and could express any concerns comfortably. The front desk people were friendly and efficient. They also have great music taste. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Vazquez and her assistant Rana were great! I came in to have a chipped tooth reshaped and they were very transparent through the whole process and constantly checked in with me to make sure I liked the way the new tooth looked. They clearly laid out all my options before starting any dental work and checked with their finance team to confirm what was covered by insurance so that I felt 100% confident with their plan of action.
