Away from work, Dr. Ahmed enjoys cooking, spending time with his family and friends and reading and learning advanced dentistry. His current professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ahmed received his Bachelors in Dental Surgery degree in 2009. After spending time in private practice abroad, he continued his education at NYU College of Dentistry. He has been practicing in the field for 10 years.
He believes that communication between patient and dentist is critical to a successful relationship. He always makes sure that his patients are educated about all procedures, all treatment options are well explained and all their questions have been answered to their complete satisfaction.
She explains the procedures thoroughly to her patients, answers questions and helps her patients decide what treatment would be best for them. She also takes dental continuation education seriously and is keeping up to date with latest dental advancements. Dr. Azi is an active member of various dental societies including American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association.
Dr. Azadeh Zadmehr (Dr. Azi) was born and raised in Iran and moved to the United States in her late teens to pursue higher education. She graduated from the Tufts University in Boston with a Master of Science and then from New York University College of Dentistry.
After graduation, she practiced dentistry in Pennsylvania before moving back to Hoboken to be near New York City once again. Dr. Azi chose dentistry over engineering based on her passion to care for people. She takes pride in gentle care and honesty, and believes that great dentist-patient relationship has a long-term impact in ones oral health.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Jovanna attended Bergen Community College in Paramus straight out of high school to achieve her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. In their two year program, she spent countless vigorous hours in clinic providing patients with the proper care and education catered to their specific needs and concerns to obtain optimum oral health as well as overall health. Aside from practicing hygiene in Bergens dental clinic, Jovanna also participated in community service hours on her clinical rotations rendering prophylactic procedures along with oral cancer screenings at St. Josephs Medical Center in Paterson and Alpine Learning Center in Paramus as well as placing sealants on children at Kindersmile Dental Clinic in Bloomfield.
