Dr. Oza has been living in Hammond, LA for 4 years now. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He received his BS in biomedical engineering from Louisiana Tech University where he graduated with a Cum Laude distinction. After engineering, he decided to pursue dentistry. He chose the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans for his dental education. After graduating from dental school in 2003, he decided to further his dental education by doing a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi where he gained a great deal of experience in oral surgery, prosthodontics, and geriatric dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Oza enjoys playing the guitar, violin, drums, piano, volunteering, and playing tennis. He believes in giving back to the community and his dental profession. He served as the treasurer for the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association for three years, has been a member of the Northlake Dental Association for four years, and has participated as a delegate for the House of Delegates for the Louisiana Dental Association twice. Also, Dr. Oza owns OceanPointe Dental Academy and currently teaches an assistant class, twice a week in the evening, to train students to become dental assistants.
Continuing dental education and the newest technology are integral parts in providing excellent care to patients. Thats why Dr. Oza stays up to date in the latest research, technology, and dental equipment.
He has completed training in placing implants through Osteoready and Alabama Implant Education. He is also qualified to perform Invisialign treatment and has received training on traditional straight wire braces through Gerety Orthodontics.
Dr. Oza wants to make sure your experience here is amazing from the time you call us until the time you walk out of our office! He strives to provide every dental patient with excellent dental treatment while keeping them very comfortable.

I called today needing an emergency appointment due to severe pain in two teeth. I was fit in and seen quickly. The care I was given was straightforward and made me feel confident in the staff and the doctor. Not having insurance I expected the cost to be outrageous but it was surprisingly reasonable. From the time I got them on the phone to checking out I had a positive experience.

The office staff is very friendly and welcoming. The practice runs efficiently; no waiting. The hygienist is gentle, patient, informative and upbeat. I am totally pleased with Advanced Dental Concepts.

Megan provided an excellent teeth cleaning !! Was the best I've ever had, and that's many 2 x a year for 2+ years. Very thorough -- Megan has a lot of pride in her profession. Dr Oza very nice! And, both of the clerical/business ladies were superb! I've already set up next appointment for January, as I'll have new insurance. Recommend highly!!

Im an out of state student who needed dental work done and I recommend Advanced Dental Concepts. Very welcoming and fast. I was able to come in , fill out paper work and get an appointment the next day for the work i needed done. If your a student at Southeastern , This is a great place to go and for anyone else also.

So upset with the experience I had with this office . I won't return . Neither will my 4 other family members plus the 2 friends I referred that had bad experiences as well. I was told I needed a root canal , I returned for my second visit for them to finish the root canal just to be informed that I had a nerve outside the tooth and they could not proceed and I would have to see a specialist. They told me they would not bill for the services because the specialist would have to. I get to the specialist whom I have to pay $600 cash before they would do anything to me even though I had two premium insurance plans in which everything would have been fully covered at advanced. If I would have known I would have had to pay for something I wouldn't have gotten the whitening for $400 for my teeth to still be yellow ! Specialist goes in to complete the root canal and goes to tell me that I did not have a nerve outside my tooth and they did not read the X-ray correctly . They completed the work . But guess whatttt ... my insurance will not pay them because they already paid the bill they received from advanced!! 3 months and it's still not resolved !!

I've used Advanced Dental for dental cleaning appointments, Invisalign, and teeth whitening. They do an amazing job and their staff is excellent. I've seen Jan and Megan for cleanings and Dr. Oza for all other needs. Highly recommend this office. Extremely professional and dedicated to your dental health and needs.

We loved Mrs. Jan! She is a ray of sunshine and made our first appointment so nice and easy. She was friendly yet very diligent with her time and got us out quickly. The office has the latest technology which made the experience even better. Actually looking forward to our next visit!
