Fritz Harshberger, D.M.D. obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2004. He practiced in Mobile, Alabama for over 10 years and in 2013 decided to expand his services to Baldwin County, founding Advanced Dental Comfort, LLC, where he now works full time.
He has completed several continuing education courses that allow him to offer additional services such as oral sedation, Six Month Smiles, MTM Clear Aligners, Botox/dermal fillers, dental implants and Cerec crowns (same day crowns).
Dr. Dabbs has lived and practiced in the Mobile area, providing comprehensive dental care to patients, since 2016. He and his wife, Jessica, have recently moved to the Fairhope area, and are very excited to build relationships in the surrounding community. While living in Mobile, Dr. Dabbs pursued continuing education in Implants, Botox, Dermal Fillers, Facial Esthetics, and other areas to better serve his patients.
Dr. Dabbs desires to provide the best treatment possible for his patients. He takes great joy in getting to know his patients personally and taking the time necessary to establish comfort and trust. He understands the challenges and anxiety that dental treatment can create for patients and is willing to take the time needed to thoroughly explain everything, so that his patients can make the best, most informed decision for themselves.
Though originally from Mississippi, Dr. Dabbs graduated as a Presidential Scholar from the University of Kentucky in 2012 before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in May of 2016. While attending UKCD, Dr. Dabbs received awards for his interest in Implantology, served as Class Representative for the Curriculum and Student Affairs Committees, and was a member of the Deans Honors Colloquium.
When Dr. Dabbs is not treating patients, he enjoys building relationships with people in other areas, including church and community events. He has volunteered his time on multiple mission trips to Brazil and Haiti, where he has served the needs of people through dental care and various other forms. He has also served as a High School and College Youth Leader, in order to provide students with positive encouragement as they begin to experience independence and affirm their own identities.
Dr. Dabbs enjoys many outdoor activities and sports including soccer, skiing, camping, kayaking, and is always eager to try new things and meet new people. He looks forward to getting to know you personally and providing you with quality, state of the art dental care!
Our staff is uniquely trained and highly skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each one of our team members has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
We are currently located between Walmart and Old 27 Grill on Highway 181 in Fairhope and are convenient to Fairhope, Daphne, Spanish Fort, Loxley, Foley, Magnolia Springs and all Eastern Shore locations. Awesome experience! When I consider giving a review on a business I look at all aspects. This dental office has polite and competent front office staff, and very good hygienists as well. Dr. Harshberger is professional and tailors each dental around the person specifically. I highly recommend this dental practice!

I had a bad tooth and had an appointment on the 24th. Well the tooth started giving me horrible problems so I called to see if they could get me in earlier and they ended up getting me on the next day. They were great on all aspects like, not feeling a thing while the doc numbed my mouth to do all the work to how they included my 4 year old son in conversations and made him feel welcome as well. I would highly recommend Advanced Dental Comfort to anyone who would like a great experience and gentle staff if your nervous about dentists.

Great service by everyone, pleased by the time the doctor took to explain the procedure and post procedure concerns. I had a fracture tooth snd was evaluated and crown placed during the same visit. Fantastic service.

I had an amazing experience with Dr Dabbs and Katelyn. My anxiety over getting dental work is so extreme. I cannot believe I am saying that my root canal was a pleasant experience. They were so compassionate and professional I was completely at ease. I would refer anyone to this office and will be bringing my own children in tbe future.
