Sheri has been working in the dental field since 1984. Sheri graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical Institute Dental Assistant program in 1984. She was a Summa Cum Laude graduate. She also received a Technical Proficiency Award for outstanding technical performance in the Dental Assistant Program. She took the national board for dental assisting and became a certified dental assistant. Over the years Sheri has worked in the dental field as a dental assistant, receptionist, and insurance billing coordinator. She is very excited to be working with us.
Melissa has worked in the dental field for 9 years and joined AdvancedDental in Norwood in 2018. Melissa's responsibilities include but, notlimited to new patient setup, scheduling as well as insuranceverification. You can expect to see Melissa at check in and check out tohelp answer any questions as well as assist with financial estimates andsubmitting your dental claims. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spendingtime with her husband, 3 kids and their dog Maggie.
Stacey began her professional career as a medical assistant, then a licensedpractical nurse. After some time, she decided to pursue her interest in thedental field and has loved her transition! Stacey is enjoying learningabout dentistry and uses her professional medical background to helpprovide the best patient experience and care possible. She loves helping thepatient feel comfortable with her gentle, warm demeanor while ensuring theyleave happy and smiling! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time withher family and friends, being at the beach, spending time outdoors.
Stephany earned a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree at The University of New England Westbrook College of Health Professions in Portland, Maine. She realizes the dental chair is not a desired destination for most and strives to make sure every patient feels at ease. Her favorite part of working as a dental hygienist is being able to help everyone bring his or her confidence back with a healthier, happier smile. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga and spending time outdoors whether hiking, boating or a day at the beach.
Caroline completed the Dental Assistant Program at Boston University andhas received her initial license as a Dental Assistant. Caroline enjoys herprofessional relationship with the dentists and patients and is committedto doing her part in providing outstanding dental care. She is looking forwardto continuing her dental education. In her spare time, Carolineenjoys travel, Boston's professional sports teams and hanging out with herpug Zeus.
Jennifer has been working in the dental field since 2006. She began by assisting the doctor and helped out in the front office when necessary and found that her prior 10+ year experience in customer service had her feeling more comfortable at the front desk. She has been greeting patients with a smile ever since! Jennifer loves getting to know the patients and enjoys making them comfortable, usually through laughter. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband Kevin, their two kids Ella and Kevin, and their dog Neely.
Ashley earned her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree at the MCPHS University/ Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been a part of the team for 3 years now and loves interacting with and getting to know her patients. Ashley strives to ensure her patients always feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. Ashley has a gentle, happy demeanor that can help any patient that may find the dentist to be a scary place. Her goal is to improve the oral health of our patients through education and leave with a healthy smile!
Caitlin earned a Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene degree at the MCPHS University/Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston, Massachusetts. Her goal is to customize care for each individual patient in order to give them the experience they desire. Caitlin makes sure the patient understands oral hygiene instruction and home care routine in order to improve not only every patient's oral health but overall health. She believes there is no greater satisfaction than a patient leaving with a big smile and feeling better about how their teeth look and feel.
Lindsay graduated from Massasoit Community College in Canton where she earned an associate degree in Dental Assisting. In 2011 she completed the state DANB exams and became a Certified Dental Assistant. Lindsay has been with our offices for over 10 years; her warm smile and love for dentistry provides patients with an exceptional experience. Lindsay enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially attending continuing education courses where she acquires the latest techniques in modern dentistry. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys cooking, riding her motorcycle and spending time with her family and friends.
Michelle studied dental assisting at Tri-County Regional Vocational School in Franklin, MA where she received her infection control, radiology, and CPR certifications. She is currently studying to become a dental hygienist. A fun fact about Michelle is that she loves to travel and go to concerts with friends in her free time.
Stephanie graduated from the Blue Hills Regional Nursing Assistant Program in 2007. While on her externships, at hospitals and nursing homes, Stephanie mostly enjoyed the administrative side of the healthcare field. She earned her business degree at Massasoit Community College. In 2012, she began working in the dental field calculating copays, presenting treatment plans, and discussing financial options with patients. To expand her knowledge in dentistry, she enrolled and received her dental assisting certificate at Boston Career Institute. In 2016, she pursued her career goals in becoming an office manager and is a current member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers. Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, taking care of their two dogs and chickens, and working on craft projects.

Dr. Shurbaji received his DMD degree from Boston University in 1996. His Bachelors Degree in Microbiology was completed at the University of Maryland. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Shurbaji has been practicing General and Cosmetic Dentistry, with emphasis on Dental Implants. Dr. Shurbaji strongly believes in continuing education, in 2004 he completed a Comprehensive Orthodontic education and got certified in Invisalign.
I first completed dental school in Brazil at UNIVILLE (Universidade da Regio de Joinville) and then after moving to the Boston area I graduated with high honors from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and received my DMD. I am certified in Laser by the American Board of Laser Surgery. I also certified in CEREC CAD/CAM and Invisalign.
I am most looking forward to working together with Dr. Shurbaji to provide comprehensive treatment and high-quality care to our patients. I believe Advanced Dental Centers is a great fit for me and I am very excited about this opportunity. I look forward to joining the team and getting to meet both the clients and staff.
