Dr. Zahedi is presently teaching at the Department of Periodontics (Constitutive & Regenerative Sciences) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and was also a full-time Associate Professor at the Department of Advanced Periodontics and Implant surgery at Loma Linda University in California from 2002 to 2004.
Since 1990, Dr. Charles Zahedi has been intensively involved with treating and helping maintain the best oral health for all patients with a focus on those that have difficulties accessing quality dental care such as older adults, orally disabled, and employees of large corporations.
Dr. Zahedi obtained a Ph.D. in oral medicine with a thesis on periodontal and bone regeneration. Most of the international publications by Dr. Zahedi deal with treating older adults having advanced bone loss and needing dental implants.
He has written some of the most-read scientific articles on how to make implant dentistry more affordable and predictable for all patients including older adults. Dr. Zahedi has lectured on the treatment of older adults and the use of dental implants and trained dentists in many countries including the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, and China.
In 2015, Dr. Zahedi was honored to be invited to write a chapter on the upcoming book Special Care Dentistry 2016 (Dental Clinics of North America). His chapter is entitled: Treatment of Orally Handicapped Edentulous Older Adults. In October 2013, Dr. Zahedi became the first dentist to have been invited to the Annual Meeting of California Assisted Living Association (CALA) to talk about the oral health of older adults (geriatric dentistry). He is also a member of the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry/Special Care Dentistry Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
In 2011, Dr. Zahedi became the Founder and Clinical Director of Dentists for Veterans (www.dentistsforveterans.org) bringing compassionate dental care to orally disabled veterans and older adults that have no covered dental benefits and whose low income is below the poverty threshold set by the U.S. government. His aim is to fight the oral handicap of edentulism in patients that have lost all of their upper and/or lower teeth by using the newest technologies in implant dentistry.
Dr. Zahedi is also well versed on the legal aspects of dentistry. Indeed, for many years, he has given lectures to UCLA students, dentists, and attorneys on the legal aspects of dentistry including the legal aspects of implant dentistry.
Dr. Cooper is a graduate of USC School of Dentistry in 1986. A native of Southern California, he attended UC Irvine and graduated in 1982 with a degree in Biological Science. He has been in private practice for over 22 years after 4 years of further education and training after graduation. With advanced certification in laser, he is able to perform a wide range of conservative and effective procedures. Certification and training in Invisalign allows him to provide the most comfortable orthodontics without braces. State of the art and high precision care is his utmost goal, utilizing sedation and comfort methods to help patients receive optimal care.
Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with his family of four children and doing many activities. He enjoys biking, swimming, tennis and other outdoor activities. His family has been church members for over 20 years, and his children were home schooled for 12 years.
Dr. Saraiva has over 45 years of experience in dentistry receiving his bachelors degree in 1967. Shortly after graduation Dr. Saraiva began working at a private practice where he practiced for just over 30 years. In 2001 Dr. Saraiva became a licensed practitioner in California and later began treating patients in Orange County.
Dr. Mary Zomorodi graduated as a doctor in dental surgery (DDS) from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Irvine in 1989. She has been a Dental Clinic Faculty at UCLA dental school from 1993 to 1995. Dr. Mary has been successfully practicing all aspects of dentistry for over 24 years and she is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Farsi.
Dr. Iris Zhou earned her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry, where she was awarded Achievement of Excellence in Restorative Dentistry. Prior, she received her Bachelor of Science from UC Davis. Dr. Iris is committed to giving back and provides dental work to the underserved at MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) Community Clinic in Pacoima, Los Angeles.
Dr. Farshidpour received her doctorate degree from the prestigious Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Mary completed advanced training at the AEGD with Lutheran Medical Center in Tuscon, Arizona in 2008. Dr. Farshidpour is proficient and well versed in all phases of dentistry for all age groups.
Dr. Wright, our experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon, is licensed in the states of California and Nevada and has extensive educational and on-the-job experience. He is proud to have delivered numerous dental presentations and has countless recognition and awards. Dr. Wright is happily married with five children, whom he loves to spend time with. In his free time, he enjoys sports, spending time with his kids, and coaching little league baseball.
Dr. Andrew Elmasri was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. His love for the health profession attracted him to dentistry where he attended and graduated from Loma Linda University with honors in Implantology and Anesthesia. It was during dental school that he realized his passion for anesthesia, and so he continued training at Loma Linda to completed a post-doctorate residency in Dental Anesthesia.
During his residency, he received extensive training in cardiology, internal medicine, medical anesthesia, and dental anesthesia. His valuable training at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda University Childrens Hospital, Riverside County Regional Medical Center, and Loma Linda Veteran Affairs Hospital provided him with experience and proficiency in treating a wide range of patients with various medical backgrounds. In addition, he trained at Loma Linda Universitys Special Care Dentistry Center, which provided him with the valuable experience of dental anesthesia through treating patients as young as 12 months old and patients with a variety of special needs, including ADHD, Autism, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Developmental Delay, and more.
Dr. Elmasri is a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Tom Dang graduated from the College of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University, Arizona. He is dedicated to making his patients look and feel better. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and being around friends and family. Dr. Dang enjoys talking and connecting with his patients and looks forward to giving his patients quality treatment.

I have been a long time patient of Advanced Dental Centers. They are very knowledgeable in the implant field which is how I found them in the first place. They explain all the treatment options which include doing nothing, root canal or implants. Their experienced work in the implant field made me feel assured I was in good hands. I knew that it was a great investment with proven record of high success rate. They are very hands on, and very passionate about their work. On the day of my surgery, they made sure I was comfortable, I was given my medications and everything went smoothly. I was highly satisfied with my implants and I was shocked at how tolerable the pain was. I recently had my crowns placed and I'm so happy with the finishing product. My implant crowns look as natural as my real teeth and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Advanced Dental Centers!

I found Advanced Dental when I was in the process of looking for a new dentist. It's been a couple years since my last cleaning so I came in really nervous about what treatment I may need. They performed a deep cleaning and went over implant options for a couple teeth that had huge cavities. As soon as I heard the word implant all I could think about was how much money I'd have to invest. To my surprise their prices were reasonable and they were willing to work with me on the financial side. I recently had three teeth extracted and was shocked the doctor managed to place the implant on the same day! I had a little swelling and practically no pain. The lab they used for my crowns was absolutely amazing! My smile looking natural was really important to me and they did an amazing job.!

Advanced Dental Centers is professional and up to date with technology when it comes to their equipment! All the doctors do an amazing job. I've had a few fillings and a couple implants placed with no pain and in a reasonable time. The hygienist also did a great job with my cleaning. They are all very nice and helpful. They were willing to answer all my questions, which were many, especially when it came to my implant treatments. I was really scared and intimidated the first implant I had placed but by the second one I was relaxed. The ADC team had done such an amazing job my first implant, I knew I was in good hands for the second! Shout out to the entire staff, thank you for all your help!

Highly Recommend! I meet with Dr. Zahedi and his staffs they are very friendly and knowable. Dr. Zahedi took his time to explain everything that would keep my mouth healthy and was very thorough about my surgery. Dr. Zahedi is the first dentist that has done deep cleans without having any pain in my mouth which I've had some painful ones. The office is clean and beautiful. It's easy to make appointments and I like the fact that they text me 2-3 times prior to my appointment day as friendly reminders.

I had an office visit at Dr Charles Zahedi office, his office staff very friendly as well as himself. His dental screening was very professional and he was very honest about any suggestion he made.I was not sure about the status of one of my teeth, when he explained, still I was not sure, but he was firm on his diagnosis in a surprising way.Evevthally when I saw the xray as well photos I was rest assured he was 100% right, and that was based on his extensive knowledge and experience. I would definitely recommend him to my family members and my friends, i know they will be in good hands

I canceled my appointment 72 hours in advanced but Charles Zahedi charged me $228.10 for the cancellation!!! He cheated my bank dispute department by covering the truth since he sent part of his phone system call log and removed other part to show I have canceled the appointment 68 hours and not 72 hours prior to the appointment!!! It is unbelievable!!! The reason I canceled the appointment was I saw him pretending me to explain my teeth problem is the worst. After that I found he was a liar and my teeth did not have such the big problems that Charles Zahedi said. STAY AWAY FROM CHARLES ZAHEDI.

His dentist office, Macarthur Dentistry, ripped me off on eBay, their eBay account is "mobiledental99". They purchased a VCR from me on eBay, broke it, and returned it to me, claiming that I had sent it to them broken. I didn't send it to them, I delivered it myself at their office, because we are both located in Orange County. They broke a VCR that they bought from me, and pretended that it was sent to them broken. This is a very unethical and low down business practice. Here's the appeal that I wrote to eBay, keep in mind that eBay's return policy states that the buyer himself has to admit that he broke the item in order for eBay to side with the seller. In other words, the buyer is right, even when he's lying and the seller is wrong even when he's telling the truth. "The buyer broke the VCR on purpose before sending it back to me, and made a false claim that it had been damaged during shipping. For one, it wasn't shipped. I delivered it myself, and I tested it beforehand to make sure that it was working. I handed it to one of his fellow dentists in an opened box for their convenience, and I even included a Euro-to-US converter, and batteries for the remote, which he returned to me without the batteries. I've included a picture of the damage that either he or one of his coworkers did to the VCR. You can see noticeable breakage on the plastic. The best explanation I can think of is that they dropped it on the ground, and you can hear something on the inside has come loose, due to the fall damage. I had one of his coworkers sign an invoice proving that they received it by hand from me. In fact, his accountant came out of the office himself to inspect it, and saw that it looked good before taking it from me. He even shook my hand. I've also included a picture of the dentist office's counter and the invoice, which was signed by one of his coworkers. Either he or one of his coworkers dropped the VCR on the floor on purpose, in order to get a refund through eBay's return policy."
