My name is Dr. James Aziz. I have been providing dental care to patients for over 20 years. I am a graduate of an 'advanced standing program 'at USC School of Dentistry, and I have two degrees in dentistry. My first is D.M.D., which stands for Doctor of Medical Dentistry and my second is D.D.S., Doctor of Dental Surgery. I also have a great amount of training and certificates that certifiy me in Implants, Cosmetic and General Dentistry. I take several continuing education courses to upgrade for the latest technologies in dentistry.
I have been serving the Whittier Community for many years and I have established a distinguished reputation by delivering superb dentistry and bringing unparalled skills and trust to my patients. I have attracted a great number of satisfied patients some of them coming from far places including: Beverly Hills, Hemet, Sylmar, Sun Valley, and even out-of-state like Arizona, Texas, and North Carolina. My patients include Doctors, Teachers, Police Officers, Real Estate Agents, and even City Mayor.
I am a member of a Clinical Research Associates, an organization that continously performs independent researches on all new advancements in dentistry to find the best techniques and materials which I update and apply to all my patients.I have extensive experience and training in performing smile makeovers and cosmetic smiles designs.

As a dental professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each and every patient relationship.

After needing the switch from Western Dental due to thier lack of customer service skills this is my new dental home for myself and my children. They are always on time with appointments, send reminders when cleanings are needed and process denials from insurance carries on your behalf for approval! Yesenia the front office clerk is super nice and helpful! Thank you Dr.Aziz and your awesome team.

Dr. Aziz is amazing. He was super gentle and did not feel any form of discomfort. I couldn't even feel the needle he used to numb me. The dental assistant, Kat, is professional. She answered any questions I had. For sure coming back here from now on.

Advanced Dental has been my dental office for over 10 years. Dr.Aziz is experienced and knowledgeable. Yesencia is his front office manager, and she is very nice and helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good dental office.

Very nice receptionists and dental assistants. Everything clean. Dentist good at explaining why your teeth hurt and and what your most affordable options are. I hate rude and dishonest dentists so I am posting this review to help people in Whittier avoid them.

Dr. Aziz has been our dentist since he opened his office here. He is most concerned about your comfort and lack of pain during procedures. He explains what you need and gives you alternatives. His staff is helpful and friendly, so you feel welcome coming. It is extremely rare that you would have to wait more than 5 minutes, if that long. I highly recommend Dr. Aziz to anyone and all, and have referred several people to this office for dental care.

James Aziz is my dentist and has been since I've moved to Whittier. Wish I knew him years ago. He has helped me many of times with my teeth and I have never had pain afterwards, never needed pain medication. His staff and him are very kind and understanding. Never in a hurry. Always talks and lets you know about your teeth and what needs to be done. I was playing with my dog (Presa Canario, 120 lbs) and we cracked heads. My mouth shut so hard most of my teeth were damaged. He fixed them all with root canals and crowns. Saved my teeth and I was able to smile again. I even went to his office twice without an appointment and he took the time to see me. He is the best dentist ever!

Dr. Aziz at Advanced Dental has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He is a great dentist, he does it all. From the simple cleaning and fillings to root canals and crowns, he even did an excellent implant for my son when his front tooth got broken. Dr. Aziz takes great pride in his work and is very conscientious. I tell him he's an artist, cause the crowns he's done for me look so natural. My kids love him as their dentist, even now that they are adults. Oh! And his office is very clean, his staff is friendly & professional and we never have to wait to be seen, they are always right on schedule. : ) I highly recommend Advanced Dental!
