Dr. Lydia Calimarea caused me so much pain and suffering that I still have nightmares about my experience. She ruined my teeth and gums by carving the teeth too far down. She refused to give me proper anesthesia, I assume to save money even when her own assistant kept telling her "Dr. he is in pain". After paying $4,000 for caps and bridge, during the last procedure while I was in the chair with tools and stuff in my mouth she told me that the estimate was wrong and I had to pay an additional $1,200 for her to finish. After paying $5,200 I had to go to another dentist two months later to have my teeth pulled and have a denture fitted. She ruined my upper teeth.

These folks charged $10 per client during the pandemic for their PPE. The only people wearing PPE that didn't wear it before were the front desk people. They also lied to me about how many cleanings my insurance would pay for per year. It's two, they insisted one. The owner of the practice had horrible chair-side manners. When my last cleaning did come up, they called and said they needed to reschedule, because the hygienist would be out that day? They rescheduled me for 5 months out. Another time I had a crown fall out. Scheduled an appointment for it to be fixed. Waited two weeks for the appointment. When I went in they gave me two options. They would glue the old one back in, $75. Or they could replace it, $475. I opted to have it replaced. They told me that they didn't have time today, so I would have to pay the $75 to have it glued back in, the. Come back and pay the $475 to have it replaced. I'm seeing a new dentist, today. Bye, bye, "Advanced Dental of Port Orange". Not only am I leaving, but I'm taking my whole family elsewhere.

Make sure you get the total price before hand And make sure they sign their signature on it too so they don't call you a liar, even when the head liner is on top of the page says advance dental care. Very rude won't be back.

Dr. Calimarea and her staff are all very professional, kind, and very understanding. I have a medical condition that sometimes causes me to give little, to no notice at all if I need to reschedule. The staff has always been extremely kind, and very helpful each and every phone call. I am very happy that I have found a dentist that is very courteous. Her and her staff explain everything in detail before and during each procedure. Price is discussed up front before any work proceeds. The prices are very reasonable. This dentist and her staff, I cannot thank enough. I definitely recommend this dentist hand over fist!

The staff is very knowledgeable and efficient without any of the fancy equipment that raises prices! I'm happy with the dental care I receive here!

Friendly staff and very clean place. I've been there 3 times. Once for a cleaning and 2 times for a chipped front tooth. Don't bite your nails because you will eventually chip your front teeth. They have repaired both of my front teeth on two separate occasions and did an OUTSTANDING job both times. I can hardly see the repair from close up. Excellent ! Thank you!!!

We are glad we came to Advanced Dental Care for our dental needs. We do not have dental insurance and checked a number of dental offices in the area before we chose them. Our first visit was Dec. 3, 2018. Since we have no dental insurance and have Humana medical coverage they gave us a price of $99 each on the first visit for x-rays, cleaning, and exam. We returned on June 4, 2019 for our 6 month cleaning and the price was $36 each. When we arrived we were in the waiting room less than 5 minutes before the two hygenists called each of us back for our cleaning.

Office is outdated. No computer imaging and painful crack in tooth was missed and then dismissed. After two visits mentioning this issue. . Also back teeth need deep scaling though had been maintaining biannual cleanings. Fillings done on child's teeth 3 need to be redone as part of cavity missed. All seemed great until my family needed more than preventative and now I am not sure if we had the best preventaive...
