Dr. Montalvo completed his B.S. Dentistry at the University of Mississippi, and earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in Jackson. He maintains active membership in professional societies that include the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Leon County Dental Association as President-Elect.
Dr. Montalvo and his staff are proud of the warm patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. Love this office and staff! Excellent service and care from the time you enter! Traci is AMAZING and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Montalvo is very knowledgeable and honest about what's needed/recommended. You won't be disappointed choosing this office!

I got referred to this place for major oral pain in January. COVID happened and all the offices were closed. I called as soon as they opened and waited a month a half to get seen. Everyone in the place was amazing besides the DOCTOR experience. He walked in. Looked in my mouth. Spoke to the tech. Argued with me a couple times about what I told him about MY mouth. And referred me out... once again. No explanation on why I'm so painful. Again, everyone but the doctor itself was great.

Dr. Montalvo has been our family dentist for 20+yrs. At the time he was one of the only dentist that allowed a parent to sit in with their child. It was a no brainer from there out. He is dependable, affordable, knowledgeable and has a supurb staff. Dr. Montalvo has helped us out on more than 1 emergency situation and showed up with a smile.

I have been seeing Dr M for over 5 years. He was not the first dentist in Tallahassee I was treated by, he will be the last. No matter what insurance or not, I'll not be changing EVER! He's keeping all my dental problems under control. BTW, his staff is also top notch!!!

Dr. Montalvo is great. He listens to your wants and needs and complies to benefit YOU! The staff in the office are really nice, and recognized me by face and name after 3 visits or so. That has to be hard sometimes. I went to this office for multiple reasons : mouth pain, teeth cleanings, and cavity fillings. If visiting him under dental insurance, the prices are quite decent, too!

Absolutely phenomenal care. Dr. Montalvo is clear, concise, and very no-nonsense. He doesn't 'overwork' the situation to obtain the almighty dollar.
