After splitting his time between his two dental practices in Anderson and Muncie, Dr. Elbrecht made the decision to commit himself full time to his Anderson, Indiana dental practice. This has allowed him to continue to provide quality care to his patients while being able to get more involved in the community. Dr Elbrecht and his team are committed to their patients and to their community, participating in several philanthropic events throughout the year which directly give back to the wonderful people of our community.
Dr. Elbrecht enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has enjoyed getting to know his patients over the years. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and is thankful for the loyalty of his patients to him and to his practice.
Dr. Elbrecht continues to keep informed of new advances in dentistry in order to provide the best possible care to his patients. He takes his commitment to dentistry and to his patients very seriously and strives to constantly improve his knowledge in all areas of dentistry. This commitment is seen in his dedication to continuing education for both him and his dental team. Knowing that dentistry is always changing and new advances in techniques and procedures are always being introduced, Dr. Elbrecht feels it is very important for him and his team to keep their knowledge of these advances current. This increases the quality of care and comfort his patients receive.
During his free time, Dr Elbrecht enjoys being active in his sons activities which include running Cross Country and Track & Field, as well as other school activities. Dr Elbrecht also enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Summerlin has dentistry in his blood! He comes from multiple generations that have been involved with oral medicine; his father, wife, grandfather and sisters. Jack graduated in 2008 from Indiana University School of Dentistry and served 3 years active duty with the Navy.
Working as a dental professional he has experience with a wide variety of providers, practice techniques, implant providers, and surgical aspects of dentistry. He likes providing patients with options to complete all of their advanced care in one place.
Dr. Emily is excited to be a part of the Fortville community! She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry followed by a General Practice residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. After her residency, she proudly served over 5 years in the United States Navy working on thousands of sailors on both shore commands and multiple ships. Dr. Emily enjoys cosmetic dentistry, but also provides a wide range of services including crowns, root canals, dentures, partials, extractions, and fillings. She is passionate about providing quality and gentle dental care for your entire family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with Dr. Jack Summerlin and their young son.

I had my first appointment in the implant process for 2 teeth yesterday and it went very smoothly. I was very nervous however everything went very smoothly. Everyone in the Fortville office has always been super friendly and helpful. I'm so happy I found Advanced Dental Care of Fortville. I highly recommend!!

I was beyond impressed with Dr. Elbrecht and Angela yesterday. My other dentist had been monitoring certain areas of concern for years without emphasizing the importance of what could happen if things got worse. My trust level went from a 2 to a 10 after my visit and procedure yesterday. I greatly appreciated the extra time Angela took to show me the images and explain the "why" behind the need for the procedure. From here on out, if Dr. Elbrecht says it needs attention, I have complete faith that he has my best interest at heart. An amazing team, they are exceptional!

I visited this office today due to wisdom teeth pain and a regular visit. They were able to get me in same day and took great care of me. We got a treatment plan set up and I go get my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow. The dentist was wonderful. The hygienist was very informative and gental. The office staff were very welcoming and helpful. I definitely recommend this office!

I had a great experience at Advanced Dental Care in Fortville! I saw Dr. Emily Summerlin for a cavity filling last week. It was quick and painless! She was very gentle, which is something I can't say about my previous dentist. The staff was great too! Everyone was personable and took great care of me. The office was very clean as well! I was the only patient being worked on, so I felt super safe and comfortable! It was also a major plus that I was in and out in less than an hour! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend this dental office for anyone looking in the area.

I have never experienced such care for my overall well-being. I was anxious to go to the dentist but this place was friendly and helpful from the office staff to the dental hygienist himself! I am so relieved I have found this dentist! My husband and I will never go anywhere else for our dental needs!! If I could rate higher than a 5 star, I would!

Let me start by saying I didn't even know this office was open. I already see the provider office next door for medical. My 3.5 year old tripped in the kitchen around 4:40pm. I have never had a kid split his gums open like this and it just continued to bleed. So I told my husband to call his dentist and they were closed. He found this office & called and they were the BEST! They stayed open late for me, they tended to my son & myself because I'm obviously freaked out, and they took my info and said to go home & snuggle my baby, they would call me with any response! I was floored at the generosity. I felt like their top priority & I couldn't have been happier with the care given. We had been looking for a permanent dentist & they sold me! I called and booked us all appointments Friday.
