Dr.Alvaro Gracia's professional tenure began upon receiving his Bachelors degree of Dental Medicine at the Javeriana University in Colombia in 1988, where his drive for clinical excellence lead him to achieve numerous state and national academic awards. Furthering his clinical passion, Dr. Gracia received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1994, coupled with his degree in Prosthodontics from Boston University, Goldman School of Medicine.
As the chief clinical officer at Advanced Dental Care of Norton, Dr. Gracia spearheads a multidisciplinary team with a concentrated focus on full mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry. Since 1994, implant placement has been a integral component of Dr. Gracia's repertoire. From the initial titanium to hybrid alloys and now encompassing full zirconium, Dr. Gracia continuously strives to remain at the forefront of continuing education. In doing so, he has been honored as a diplomat of the ABOI/ID, Diplomat and Fellowship of the ICOI, and maintains membership with the following accreditation; ICD member of the AO, ACP, AAFP, AAID, ADA and AADS.
Dr. Kay is a Prosthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and the American Board of Forensic Dentistry. He has been a prominent clinician and a dental educator to a generation of dentists and prosthodontists. He has delivered more than 25 presentations to dental societies across the country and abroad on prosthodontics and dental implants, and has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is an inventor who holds several patents and has several patents pending for instruments, materials, and methods that he has invented to improve radiological imaging, implant dentistry, and other aspects of dental care.
After completing his undergraduate education at Brown University with Honors, Dr. Kay earned his D.M.D. degree cum laude from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1980, followed by a Master of Medical Science degree in Oral Biology from Harvard Medical School in 1984. His post-doctoral training included a general practice residency in the Dental Department at Brockton Veterans Administration Medical Center in Massachusetts as well as certificates in prosthodontics (Harvard School of Dental Medicine, MA) and in dental implants (Misch International Implant Institute, MI). Dr. Kay was Board Certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Surgery in 1991. In addition to Bostonians, patients from over twenty other states and one dozen foreign countries come to receive care from Dr. Kay. He has been a course director and clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine since 1984. In addition, he serves as a court-qualified expert on dental matters to the legal profession and as consultant to dental companies. Dr. Kay is also a co-founder and the Chief Scientific Officer of LaunchPad Medical, LLC., a biotechnology company developing groundbreaking new technologies in patient care, including Implant Dentistry.

Prepping for my crown was very difficult for all concerned. I was in the chair for two hours. Dr. Romero and Abbie were very considerate and supportive the whole time.

My first time at Advance Dental after 25 years of being a patient at a dental school. Starting with the receptionist, she was friendly and knowledgeable. I was taking on time. Mary my hygienist explained what she was doing and was very thorough. Finally, Dr Romero was awesome ! She made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She gave me a thorough exam explaining as she examined. It was a great first visit.

Jen is probably the best dental hygienist I've ever had!! She has hands of a surgeon and goes above and beyond. It's obvious she loves what she does and the more challenging the situation the more her skills and passion for dentistry are displayed!! Simply the BEST!! And Dr. Gracia is amazing too!! They are a perfect pair!!!

My first visit met and exceeded my expectations. I waited 1 minute in the waiting room which was very clean and inviting. Amanda my hygenist was extremely pleasant and Professional and my introduction to Dr Gracia was informative and helpful regarding the practice. And last was the check out process also prompt, pleasant and seamless. Unfortunately I didn't get the receptionist name

If your not going to advanced dental care of Norton your simply not receiving advanced dental care. I don't even know where to begin. I had an appointment today with Amanda and I have to say I will never be going anywhere els. It had been a really long time since I had been to the dentist and I was extremely nervous and uncomfortable. Let me tell you from the second I stepped in the door until the appointment was finished I felt welcomed and really felt that I was in good hands. Amanda's knowledge and professionalism was what stood out the most with my visit she showed me everything she was doing and explained why it was needed every step of the way. I feel it's crucial to be able to have a trustworthy relationship with your dentist and there's no doubt in my mind that the only thing ADC of Norton cares about is your health and well being. Give them a shot and I guarantee you won't regret it. Having a good reliable dentist is life changing and I truly wish I knew about these guys sooner

They were on time especially when I asked to be completed by a certain time, my hygienist got me out as I asked. She also was extra careful to not cause any discomfort !!

The staff at Advanced Dental Care of Norton are fantastic . Dr Gracia is knowledgeable and takes his time to explain every aspect of what is needed and why. Dr.Romero is an excellent Dentist. She is knowledgeable and explains every aspect of the process you are having done. Advanced Dental of Norton is the best Dental office. I feel very fortunate to have found these fantastic Dentists and staff. Thank you all for your patience with me. I highly recommend them for any type of dental procedures.

Went for a routine cleaning, have not been to the dentist since the start of Covid due to lack of dental insurance, but self pay at Dr Gracia's office was not outrageous at all. Amanda was awesome during the cleaning and gave me lots of info and advice that I had not known, and Dr. Gracia even shaved down a piece of an existing crown to help with evening my bite, at what seemed to be free of cost! Not afraid to go there in the future for more serious work if needed.

I highly recommend Advanced Dental Care of Norton. Dr. Gracia, Angela and all the others, be it in the labs, in the office or on staff, have been very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I've had many years of dental work performed elsewhere. Braces, extractions, root canals, caps, crowns and TMJ related surgery. My teeth were very bad. Several dentists and oral surgeons said they could not help me. The most hopeful solution offered would require one to two years to complete, in several stages, requiring multiple, extended hospital stays. Not really what I was looking for so I was resigned to not talking clearly and eating liquid nourishment for the rest of my life. Dr. Gracia was recommended to me and I decided why not. Worst thing that could happen was a waste of a hour or so. Turns out to be one of the best decision I ever made. With his knowledge and modern equipment we did exams and had a working plan in that first meeting. Time wise, less than I expected. Major surgery was in the office and was done in one day. Bone grafting, screw sockets, cleaning out old remnants of past work, removal of infected bone areas, all done. All that heals while the teeth are made, and then the end results are a full set of beautiful, working, non removable (by me), teeth. Price wise initially gave me sticker shock but considering it over time it's not too bad. The benefits of implants. No more cavities to fill, no more caps, or crowns or root canals. Unlike dentures, they don't fall out or need gunk to hold them in. No more toothaches or hot/cold reactions. In my case, my dental insurance wouldn't cover dental appliance maintenance so no insurance cost. You still brush and floss and have a yearly check-up but that's less than the insurance. I've had mine for three plus years and am very happy with them and with Advanced Dental Care of Norton. Thank you Dr. Gracia, thank you Angela, thank you to everyone else that makes A.D.C. of Norton, the great place it is. If I had one complaint it would be that I have to learn how to smile again.

Absolutely loved having Brianna today. She made me for so comfortable when being at the dentist is my highest point of anxiety. I truly appreciate how she took time to get to know me and had nothing but patience with me. I highly recommend ADC and breathe a little easier knowing they work with each patient individually.
