Dr. Sam Pominvilleearned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Siena College. He subsequently received his D.D.S. from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1987. The following year Dr. Pominville completed an internship at Albany Medical Center. In 2013 Dr. Pominville completed an Implant Maxi Course at the University of Toronto. The course covered surgical and prosthetic instruction on dental implant placement and restoration.

Dr. Sam Pominville is a general dentist who places a strong focus on preventative care and education while delivering a positive experience for the entire family. He is committed to the latest technology and techniques for maintaining a healthy radiant smile. Dr. Pominvilles Practice, Advanced Dental Care incorporates the many hours of continuing education that he pursues annually. His practice philosophy centers around a health and wellness model and the importance of the oral systemic connection, and how whole body health and oral health are intimately connected.

To remain familiar with the latest technology and new developments in dentistry, Dr. Pominville regularly attends dental seminars and conventions. He is also a member of the Academy ofOral Systemic Health, a professional organization of dentists that believe in the connection between oral health and systemic health.

Dr. Pominvilles advanced training includes the prestigious Dawson Academy; which specializes in the rehabilitation of worn dentition, smile design and cosmetics. Other areas of study include orthodontics, temporomandibular disorders, sleep apnea and implants.

Dr. McKenzie Clemens was born and raised in Lowville, NY and graduated from LACS in 2006. She attended Alfred University in Alfred, NY on a National Merit Scholarship, and in 2010 earned a Bachelors of the Arts degree in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Clemens completed her dental education at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine on Long Island, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. Upon graduating, Dr. Clemens completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. She has been practicing dentistry as an associate for the 1st Advantage Dental Group in Latham, NY since 2016.

Dr. Clemens completed and published research during her graduate studies on the link between oral and systemic inflammation and incorporates this knowledge into her practice to encourage whole body health and wellness. Dr. Clemens strives to make patients feel comfortable with the treatment they receive, and to make sure patients understand all treatment recommendations. She has a special interest in treating patients with dental anxiety and making these patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
