Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Jorgenson attended the University of Wisconsin, where he earned a dual degree in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences. He then chose to attend the University of Southern California, where he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After practicing for a number of years in New Mexico, he eventually decided to move back to Southern California to continue his work.
Dr. Jorgenson is a proud member of the American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry (ASIRD). This organization is committed to improving the quality of care for dental implant patients by elevating the standards of surgical and restorative dental education and practice. Not every dentist routinely restores and maintains dental implants, and not all placers of dental implants are surgeons. By using an ASIRD team, patients can rest easy knowing that their chosen dentist routinely restores and maintains dental implants, and that only a highly trained, implant-focused oral surgeon will handle the surgical procedure.
Additionally, Dr. Jorgenson is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technologies in dentistry. He constantly participates in continuing education courses on a variety of different subjects and is an Invisalign Gold Provider. He is also a member of the following organizations:
Whenever Dr. Jorgensons not practicing dentistry, he spends quality time with family and friends, goes to sporting events, enjoys trying new restaurants, and travels. Hes also traveled out of the country numerous times in order to provide free oral healthcare for the underprivileged. He regularly volunteers at local events and free clinics too! As our in-house oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Coppelson plays a large part in helping patients live happier, healthier lives. Dr. Coppelson is originally from Encino, CA, but hes also lived in Louisiana, Maryland, and Texas. After graduating from Birmingham High School, he pursued his undergraduate degree at UCLA, followed by his dental doctorate from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Coppelson completed a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland. He also underwent a Fellowship in Advanced Maxillofacial Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is a medical doctor and also performs IV Sedation. Today, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is also a current member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
When he isnt busy at work, spending quality time with family and friends is very important to Dr. Coppelson. In addition to dentistry, hes passionate about astronomy, anthropology, and international relations!

Excellent experience. They were right on time with my appointment. Didn't keep me waiting at all--not in the waiting room or even in the chair. Everyone was extremely friendly. The doctor was kind and took the time to explain everything to me. The dental hygienist was super friendly and made an uncomfortable experience actually pleasant. I would definitely recommend!!

I had such a good experience. I'm generally nervous at the dentist and this was my first time booking a dentist appointment alone and in a new state. I was easily able to book an appointment and get my insurance confirmed. I got x-rays, an exam, and a cleaning. Everyone here was really kind; I had no wait time for my appointment, and I was done super quickly. Highly recommend! :)

I've been going to Advanced Dental Care for a few years now. They are always very professional and personable. The cleanings are much less painful than other dental offices I've been to, which is the biggest plus for me.

This dental office is great. Parking is always good, the staff are such sweethearts, the dentists are really nice and thorough. Going to the dentist makes my tummy turn but the lovely folks that work there really remember their clients on a first name basis and it makes it so much more comfy.

My long time and best dentist I've ever had in my life. Been to about 3 dentists since moving to LA 8 years ago and this is by far the best I've experienced. Dr. Jorgenson and staff are always super friendly and his work is impeccable. Had some veneers done and they look super natural and I always get compliments on my teeth. Hygienist is also very gentle and thorough. Recommend all my family friends and see him and they have been extraordinarily happy too.

I gave Dr. Jorgenson and staff 5 stars because I had an excellent experience. The office is clean and sanitized. The Staff is very professional and nice. With Covid still a problem they all went out of their way to make me feel safe and comfortable. They take lots of precautions. I had x-rays, cleaning and a check up...they took their time and the appointment was very thorough.

Came in this morning for a tooth extraction and to have an infection taken care of. Dr. Jorgenson was extremely professional and kind throughout the process. I haven't been to a dentist in years and he didn't try to recommend any unnecessary treatments. He handled my concerns quickly and I was even able to make my work shift the same afternoon. The staff at Advanced Dental was also extremely helpful.... Chantel (sp?) was very nice and understanding. Thanks again Advanced Dental Care, I'll see you in a few weeks for the reevaluation.

I recently was notified that my dentist who I had been going to for over 30 years was no longer in network with my insurance. I needed a crown and had to search for a new dentist who was in network. After a little research I found Advanced Dental Care. I came for my appointment and they were able to get the crown started. Dr. Jorgenson was very thorough and explained the whole process. The dental assistant was kind and also very helpful. Two thumbs up!

I had a scheduled wedding then an unexpected major family emergency and last minute dental issues on top of that I am no fan of dentists. I was scared and apprehensive of going to advanced dental. Their staff went above and beyond. Not only putting my mind at ease but actually caring genuinely. The dr. Was also amazing fair to the point put my mind at ease. And most importantly the cost was fair no price gauging no unnecessary work. I highly recommend advanced dental care. I cant thank them enough
