Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Jorgenson attended the University of Wisconsin, where he earned a dual degree in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences. He then chose to attend the University of Southern California, where he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After practicing for a number of years in New Mexico, he eventually decided to move back to Southern California to continue his work.
Dr. Jorgenson is a proud member of the American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry (ASIRD). This organization is committed to improving the quality of care for dental implant patients by elevating the standards of surgical and restorative dental education and practice. Not every dentist routinely restores and maintains dental implants, and not all placers of dental implants are surgeons. By using an ASIRD team, patients can rest easy knowing that their chosen dentist routinely restores and maintains dental implants, and that only a highly trained, implant-focused oral surgeon will handle the surgical procedure.

Whenever Dr. Jorgensons not practicing dentistry, he spends quality time with family and friends, goes to sporting events, enjoys trying new restaurants, and travels. Dr. Coppelson is originally from Encino, CA, but hes also lived in Louisiana, Maryland, and Texas. After graduating from Birmingham High School, he pursued his undergraduate degree at UCLA, followed by his dental doctorate from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Coppelson completed a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland. He also underwent a Fellowship in Advanced Maxillofacial Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is a medical doctor and also performs IV Sedation. Today, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is also a current member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
When he isnt busy at work, spending quality time with family and friends is very important to Dr. Coppelson. In addition to dentistry, hes passionate about astronomy, anthropology, and international relations!
