I am a native Floridian, born in Hollywood, FL. I went to school here in Central Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1992. After UCF, I moved to Philadelphia, PA to attend Temple University. In 1996, I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple.
After dental school, I returned to Florida, where I met my lovely wife. We now have three wonderful children who keep us very busy, and I enjoy spending time with them when I'm not busy helping patients. Some of my favorite activities include reading, crossword puzzles, skiing, swimming, watching football, and just enjoying the beautiful Florida outdoors with my family.
In recent years there has been much advancement in the field of dentistry. My trusted team members and I are continually updating our knowledge through continuing education and advanced training courses so you can rest assured your smile is in good hands.
Originally from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Kris was raised in Central Florida. She is a mother of two children, Destiny and Noah. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family.
Kris graduated from dental assisting school in 2001 and holds the distinction of being both a certified dental assistant and an expanded functions dental assistant. She has been helping patients here at Advanced Dental Care for over 18 years.
Kris has a great understanding of dental procedures. She has filled many roles here at Advanced Dental Care, including those of dental assistant, front desk, insurance, billing, and office manager. Her knowledge in both the clerical and clinical areas of dentistry is especially useful in allowing her to handle all of a patients questions and concerns regarding everything from treatment options, payment plans, and what their insurance will cover. Kris takes great pride inusing this knowledge to help patients get the smile they desire.
Bev is a native Central Floridian who loves the outdoors. She has been blessed with three wonderful children. In her leisuretime, Bevenjoys spending time with her children and loving husband. She is dedicated to supporting her children in their many sporting activities.
Bev has been in the dental field for over 20 years, serving as both a dental assistant and front desk coordinator. She is very passionate about doing everything she can to help our patients achieve their dental wellness goals. Her philosophy is that ones dental health is relative to their overall health and well being.
Michelle was born and raised in Jamaica. She moved to the United States in 2009 and shortly after joined the United States Army. She is a graduate of Valencia College where she earned her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.

Caring and professional, Dr Young and his team is the best dental practice in the area. The hygienist, Michelle, is especially personable and thorough and obviously takes pride in her expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Young and the Advanced Dental Care staff.

The ONLY dental office in FL that I trust! I moved here and saw four other dentists that told me I had several cavities. I knew that wasn't right. Found this office and after xrays they told me the truth: one cavity. I've been going to them twice a year ever since and haven't had another cavity. Very clean and professional, and friendly!!

I have been looking for a dentist since I moved to Florida! I probably waited too long, it had me nervous to even go into the office this morning. However all that changed when I was welcomed by everyone on the team in such a kind manor! Dr Young was very professional and his hygienist was so warm and explained everything to me thoroughly. It was my first visit with this dentist and it was a great one from the x-rays to meeting the dentist. It's a practice that doesn't go after your money but only tells you want they think you need by not pushing you to do it. Great staff as well !

I've been looking for a Dentist since I moved down here. I went to Dr. Young after a client of mine, whose also a dentist just not in this area, referred me to him after my two previous visits to two other dentist in the area were questionable. Dr. Young and his staff made me feel very welcomed and he was able to give me a clear plan on what I actually needed done, which turned out to be just a couple cavities. So if your looking for a Dentist in the area that is friendly, laid back and won't try to over charge you for phantom issues, I'd reach out to Dr. Young and his staff. Highly recommended!

Dr. Young and his team are excellent and make you feel extremely comfortable from the moment you walk in the door!! Chris got me right in and Brandy the hygienist was amazing and explained the whole process to me step by step for my emergency crown and filling. I was also surprised how reasonable the procedure cost compared to other dentists :) I would highly recommend this dentist to you! I have never felt so comfortable before I found this dentist office! Great office. My boyfriend, myself & our family go here. They're so sweet & everything is straight forward. They don't try to suck us into "treatment plans" we don't need like other dentist in the area. Would definitely recommend!
