Favorite thing about dentistry: We can make an incredibly profound impact on a persons life by giving them back their confidence to smile, enjoy the foods they like, and live a pain-free and healthy life.

Favorite App: The Wall Street Journal I can read the paper whenever I want on my iPhone! Weather.com is second my family thinks I was a meterologist in my last life because I am full of all sorts of weather predictions (which are usually pretty accurate).

Fave sports team: All the Cleveland teams Im a lifelong suffering Cleveland sports team fan who has, lived through it all; The Fumble, The Shot, Red Right 88, Im taking my talents to South Beach etc. And, Univ of Michigan, who has the best fight song and helmets in college sports!

Fave things: Traveling anywhere different from home, riding my road bike in the Metroparks when theres no cars and its really still and quiet, volunteering with my son to feed Clevelands homeless with the St. Ignatius Labre group on Sunday evenings and seeing him get it. Coming from work, where almost nobody wants to see me (even though most people are good pretenders), to my home where everyone is glad Im there!

Dr. Barjesh Bath-Walters graduated with Highest Honors from Warren Area High School in Pennsylvania in 1982, and attended Penn State and Chatham College. She entered Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry where she received both her undergraduate degree in 1986, and doctorate in 1990, graduating in the top tier of her dental school class. Following graduation, she also was accepted into the Metro Health Medical Center hospital residency program. Upon completion of this advanced training, Dr. Barjesh joined Dr. Steve in private practice (and marriage!) in 1991.

The doctors have been honored to be selected among Northern Ohio Lives Best Dentists and having been given the distinction of being selected by the Consumers Research Council of America, as Americas Top Dentists in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. Drs. Steve and Barjesh have published numerous articles on dental health in newspapers and periodicals. The doctors have also given many presentations to dentists, community groups, and health care providers on the advancements in dentistry. Additionally, both the doctors provide expert testimony for the legal profession in dental related cases. Recently, Dr. Steve was featured in several West Side newspapers and on Channel 3 for his role in training local paramedics on handling dental trauma.

Favorite thing about dentistry: Helping patients avoid dental problems by education and preventive care; allowing patients to have the best possible experience by utilizing the best materials and technologies; helping patients to overcome their dental fears and anxieties due to previous negative experiences by building a trusting relationship with them.

Education and hobbies: Undergraduate degree from Penn State & Chatham College & Doctorate from Case; Residency @ Metro Hospital; hobbies: attending all my sons sporting events, and my daughters dance activities

Sedation dentistry offers individuals with general anxiety about going to the dentist or fears about a specific dental procedure the opportunity to have a stress free and more comfortable experience. Utilizing safe and controlled sedation techniques prior to the dental procedure the patient is eased into a state of complete relaxation. This eliminates any discomfort, pain, and preoperative anxiety that may be associated with a particular dental visit. With sedation dentistry patients typically feel more at ease post-operatively as they have little or no memory of the actual moment-to-moment dental procedure.

Commonly referred to as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is used as a mild sedative to reduce anxiety and allow a level of relaxation during a procedure. Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask over the nose. It is administered for the duration of the procedure and is turned off as the procedure is coming to an end. The effects of this method of sedation wear off very quickly.

IV Sedation involves a sedative that is administered intravenously, or directly into a vein. It is indicated when deeper sedation is required. This type of sedation can be quickly modified to your state of consciousness and can be continued as long as necessary for the procedure.

Absolutely the BEST experience I ever had at a dentist office. From the ambiance of lobby to the front desk & office people to dentist "Samuel D. Stevens" & assistant, the absolute best in care, compassion, professionalism & thoroughness from start to finish. If I could give 10 stars I would. I had an extraction several times here & both times they fit me in for an appointment next day knowing the pain I was in. The dentist gave me a gentle, quick & painless extraction. They communicate every step of the way & treat people with respect. I highly recommend. Thank you so much ! Barbie Beehler

Great friendly staff, couldn't be happier with the care I have received to date. Edit: It's been about 4 years since my first visit - still my primary dental care provider. The staff here really are the foundation of the business. They make every trip extremely pleasant and smooth.

My first appointment at this office was Great! The Dentist did an amazing job. Fast forward 6 months not so much. I waited 30 days for an appointment, which is understandable. I had to scheduled a day off work for this appointment. 2 hours before the appointment I get a call that they have to reschedule. Disappointing.

Kim and the whole staff are unendingly kind and compassionate. They cater to my anxiety triggers without hesitation or judgment. And they provide top notch dental care which thankfully keeps the need for me to go to a minimum. :).

If every business was run like this, the world would be a better place. They are like Tina Turner says... simply the best. They have prolonged the life of my teeth and I could not have done it at another Dentist. They make the entire experience as pleasant as possible and absolutely everyone on the staff could jr be any nicer. Do yourself a favor and try them out.

I have had limited experience with this practice with only two cleanings and exams. The last visit was very good. The office is very efficient, ultra-clean, and pandemic compliant. Staff members are friendly and exceptionally professional. My personal concerns were met very satisfactorily. I will be able to provide more complete evaluation once I have experienced an actual dental procedure. So far I am pleased.

Exceptional service and quality! Dr. Bargesh is the most gentle and experienced veneer and esthetic dentist in town. Both my sister and I had veneers and crowns done by her and our experience was fantastic. We get compliments all the time on our smiles and it's all because of Dr. Bargesh Walters. Highly recommend Advanced Dental Care and Esthetics!

Excellent service. Very accommodating. Process is quick, professional with no long waits. Appointments run smoothly. Costs are reasonable and scheduling is easy. In fact I have just switched my daughters to the practice as well. Varying appointment times so it has always been easy to find one to fit in my schedule.

I came to Advanced Dental Care because it is advertised as a place for people who are scared of the dentist. After receiving xrays I was told the worst news a scared person can have- I have a cracked tooth and need a root canal and possible extraction {this was quoted to be over $3,000). I paid $66 for the visit (even though it says your first visit is free). I went and got a 2nd opinion and I do NOT have a cracked tooth or need a root canal! My bite was off which this dentist fixed in 5 minutes. On top of this, several weeks later I saw that they also billed my insurance for this one visit and got $173 from them. I am now getting text messages, phone calls and mail stating that I owe another $23 for the one xray I received. I feel that they are concerned abut money and not care of patients.

I have had terrible dental experiences in the past and was looking for a good dentist that provides sedation services. From the moment I walked into the office I was greeted with polite friendly personnel ,at check in. And Cyndi the treatment coordinator and Sarah the dental assistant were wonderful, explaining the financials and what to expect before, during and after the extensive dental work scheduled for October. Dr. Steven Walters was so professional and kind. I am so glad I chose this dental group. I have a sense of relief walking into this dental office that I have not felt for years.....So kind, compassionate, and competent. Thank you Advanced Dental Care and Aesthetics. Sincerely Katey Yonkof

I don't know where to begin. I guess from the start..My first phone call when searching for a dentist that could perform the necessary things I needed with my teeth combined with my anxiety of past encounters at the dentist. I can't remember her name, and I'm sorry for that, but she not only made me feel comfortable about booking an appointment, but took the time to explain to me their process which could've waited until I was there. There was so much comfort in that knowing what to expect prior to sitting in the chair. First visit, I needed some serious work done. The embarrassment was obvious, but the kind staff made me feel comfortable and welcome in my decision to fix my teeth and my smile. Never once did I feel any judgment from the staff about my teeth or my decision to get put to sleep for my extensive work. Each visit to this day (about 10 or so visits) I have felt more and more comfortable about my appointments and look forward to my encounters with them. There's not an visit that the front desk doesn't smile when I enter, talk with me a bit instead of having me just sit and wait. The assistant, who probably spend the most time naturally with me, always remembers our previous conversations and checks up on things we have spoken about in the past. Then the dentist, the one who has all the ability to ruin the encounter, but doesn't. Every time in the office, the dentist greets me, asks how I'm feeling, talks with me a bit, makes sure I'm fully aware of everything that he is going to be doing, talks with me while doing it, jokes and makes the encounter as easy going as the dentist could make it. I guess more importantly for me, is the respect all of the members I've mentioned show day in and day out. They don't have to do many of the things I've briefly mentioned, yet they do each and every visit. I've been asked about my day, my job, my pets, my family, my overall health, my hobbies, my tattoos, etc. They've told me to take my time before leaving if I needed a minute to gather myself, they've asked if I wanted walked out to my car, they've asked if I needed a few minutes before next steps of the process. I could go on and on, but by now anyone reading should understand. This place is second to none, top to bottom. I never thought I'd ever develop this kind of a relationship with the dentist, but here I am. If you're looking for a dentist, look no further, this is the absolute best option there is... Thank you for all that you do for all your patients. I know I'm not alone.
