Keeping up with the latest advances and materials in dentistry to make the patient more comfortable while achieving maximum esthetics is top priority in my practice. Dr Steven Koretzky has been with Advanced Dental Associates since 1996 and a partner since 2001. He graduated from New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers Dental School) in 1995 and finished his residency program at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in 1996. Dr. Koretzky is a long standing member of the ADA, NJDA and OKU dental honor society.
Dr. Neepa Shah joined Advanced Dental Associates in 2008 and became a partner in 2010. She graduated from New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers Dental School) in 2004 and did her General Practice Residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ.
One of the most difficult aspects of dentistry is gaining trust from a patient. Oftentimes patients are so nervous about walking into a dental practice. While working hard to achieve a good outcome for the patients oral health, I also try my best to be compassionate and understanding of their fears.

My family and I have enjoyed excellent service at Advanced Dental Associates for more than a decade and they have certainly earned our trust during that time. I especially enjoy the professional and friendly environment, the text reminders and flexibility of scheduling. Yesterday I had Tina as my hygenist and I must say, it was the most thorough cleaning I believe I have ever had. She took her time and really focused on addressing everything before I was examined by Dr. Koretzsky who took his time and throughly discussed the changes in my teeth over time, comparing my X-rays to reassure me of my continued dental health. I really can't say enough about Advanced Dental Associates and I'm glad they are still around after all these years!

Dr. Shah is absolutely fantastic. I suffer from Panic Disorder and she has a better bedside than every psychiatrist I've had. The office staff is also very friendly. I am so happy that I switched over to Dr. Shah and this office. I can't praise them enough.

My first experience with Dr. Shah was fine at first, but then I realized that the facility was more driven by money then actually tending to my needs. I had minor needs that were taken care of before a serious procedure which was my root canal that was unfinished. This facility literally exhausted my insurance coverage for the year before I even was able to finish a serious procedure. Not only did I have an outstanding balance that I was unaware of, but I was contacted by this facility in March of 2020 when the pandemic was abruptly affecting people's lives, and informed of my balance. Very inconsiderate of this facility to contact me about a balance during a pandemic, when people are facing financial hardships.

Dr. Koretzky took time to make sure that I understood everything that was being done for me. In today's world it's Refreshing to see medical professionals who take the time and actually care. Dr Shah has been an amazing dentist having taken me on after losing mine (several years ago). She helped me set a plan and execute on it to get me in a much better and stable place before I moved from the area. She is a highly competent doctor while maintaining empathy for a guy who is quite scared of dentists in general. Tina has consistently assisted and been wonderful as well. Lastly, I had a cleaning in their office and it was pain free - actually a really great experience. Highly recommend Dr Shah and the entire staff.

I have major dental fears due to previous trauma and Dr. Koretzky has been so kind and patient with me over the past 3 years. The whole office staff is lovely, and are incredibly cautious during COVID. My husband and I have both been thrilled with our care since we moved to South Orange.

I was very fortunate to find Dr Steven Koretzky and his staff at Advanced Dental Associates. Dr Koretzky was able to restore my smile after a horrible experience I encountered from another dentist. He and his staff were very sympathetic and guided me through the process needed to regain my confidence and comfortability of repairing my teeth. The office is clean, very professional and most importantly nice and friendly. "I got my smile back"!! Thank you all so much

I went here 7months ago for a cleaning. The dentist asked if I wanted to refill my fillings because I had the black fillings instead of the white which makes it look like my own teeth. I said sure and went through with the procedure. I went to her a second time because I was feeling mild pain. She asked did I have sinus issues and I said yes. She said that was the root of my problem. Recently went to another dentist because I was in excruciating pain. He informed me my tooth was infected because the filling was put to close to a nerve. He said you should not have did the refill because it was already to close. She did not inform me of that. Thats why I was in severe pain. Not because of my sinus issue. Now I have to pay for her service ($323), root canal ($230 with insurance), and a crown ($240 with insurance). All because of negligence. The office and ambiance is great but the work there is mediocre. " Bed side manner" is not great. Do not listen to you and its like they only hear you to think of what to respond next. A bit pushy as well. But great communication at the front desk where you need to pay for service. No one likes to be funny with money. Thank you for the extra money I need to spend now!
