Dr. Susana Kulangara is a Tampa native and is an alumnus of King High School which is not far from the practice. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami and then went up north to complete her dental studies from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine.

Following dental school, Dr. Kulangara completed a rigorous 3-year residency program in Prosthodontics at the Washington D.C. VA hospital, which is also in conjunction with the Navy Post-Graduate Dental School.

Prosthodontics is an accredited dental specialty that focuses on the aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of the mouth. Here, she learned how to do complex and challenging cases using crowns, bridges, veneers, dental implant tooth replacement and implant-supported complete and partial dentures to rehabilitate her patients.

In addition, Dr. Kulangara was an Associate Clinical Professor in the Prosthodontics Department at New York University. She is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Florida Prosthodontic Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the ADA and FDA.

Dr. Kulangara moved back to her hometown of Tampa in 2012 and strives to provide the highest quality of dentistry while putting her patients at ease with her warm and caring personality. She is excited to be able to re-design smiles and make her patients look and feel the best they ever have.

While away from the office, Dr. Kulangara and her husband Javit enjoy spending time with their children Jaya & Veer, trying new restaurants and recipes and traveling any chance they get. Dr. Kulangara loves community events and looks to support local businesses in and around Tampa.

Dr. de la Torre was born in New Orleans and grew up all along the Eastern coast. After graduating high school from the Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, she earned her Bachelors in Science at the University of Florida. She continued to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the Gators.

Her vigorous, top ranked residency and commitment to containing education helped her achieve Fellowship of Academy of General Dentistry. A high honor recognizing only about seven percent of general dentists. She also studied at the Dawson Center for Advancement of Dentistry and became a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She has completed advanced training in endodontics, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, and Botox.

Dr. de la Torre is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, and the prestigious Spear Institute. In her effort to give back to the community, she is a member of Give Kids a Smile and the Junior League of Tampa.

Dr. Greg Goran Stoici was born in Timisoara, Romania in 1977. His family immigrated to the U.S. in 1983 due to the hardships of communism. His family lived for a time in Chicago, IL, then Ann Arbor, MI, and finally Pittsburgh, PA, where he completed high school. Most of his summers were spent in Romania working with his grandparent on a farm. Romania went through a democratic revolution in 1989. He was accepted in the dental school of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his doctorate degree in dentistry. After practicing dentistry in Philadelphia for a few years and the birth of his first son, he visited Sarasota and St. Petersburg and fell in love with the tropical environment. He and his family moved to St. Petersburg in 2009 and fell in love with the Old Northeast part of the city, where they purchased a home in 2010.

In 2013 our second son was born, and we love living here. We go to the beach on Sunday afternoons to play in the sand and water, and watch the sunset. We love going to the parks, riding our bikes to downtown for ice cream, or strolling through the city. Looking back through the years, I would have never guessed I would be living here doing what I love doing, which is helping people in the ways only a dentist can. I am truly thankful.

Had a full service on all my teeth and was very happy with the outcome. I was worried about getting dentures because of people noticing. after I was fully healed and done people always give me compliments and no one even knows they are not real.

The complete staff is helpful and very accommodating. The dental assistant is incredible. Dr. Moore is paramount. She explains every option and will answer every question to fine detail. This office will definitely turn your frown upside down.

I'm a patient here and had appointment scheduled 6 months ago and they called and text to verify that I was coming to my appointment today and I confirmed it and when I got there they tell me I never had a appointment all because the dental hygienist wanted to leave. I'm very understanding if she would have just said I had something come up and she needed to leave I would've completely understood but the fact her and the front desk worker lied I won't be back .

My crown came loose (so I thought) the week before New Years and Advanced Dental got me right in after finding out my current dentist no longer took my insurance. They went through the process to set me up as a new patient, even though I was really just worried about the loose crown at the time. I just went along with it thinking I needed a new dentist anyway. After the ex rays were done the dentist came in and look at my tooth. She then advised me that it was not the crown but my tooth was the problem. It was all broken up barely hanging on. She said she did not feel comfortable pulling it because one of the roots was very close to the sinus. She indicated another dentist in the office could do it but he didn't have any opening until the following week. As I was leaving I was expressing my apprehension to waiting 8 days to have it taken care of. The office manager told me she would talk to the dentist and see if he could fit me any in the next few days and call me the next day. They had multiple locations and I was willing to go to any of them. The following morning I called to see if she was able to find out anything because it was really bother me and I could not wait 8 days to get it fixed. The first time I called I had to leave a voice mail. I wait a hour or so then called back. I got the office manager and asked her if she was able to find anything out because I needed to find another dentist if he could not take me that week. She told me she would call me back in 5 minutes. I waited and waited. Finally an hour later I said I'm done with this place. They never called me back! Just blew me off. I ended up going to Kathleen Dental and they took care of me the next morning. Didn't have to wait 8 days with a tooth barely hanging in my mouth. The Advanced Dental Arts staff and dentist were nice enough. I completely understand if they are booked and could not get me in. I also understand that the dentist not being comfortable pulling the tooth and am glad she was honest about it, rather than trying to do it and screwing it up. The thing that really ticketed me off is the office manager blowing me off. Don't tell someone you are going to call them or you will call them right back and then not do it. If the dentist could not fit me in then just be honest about it, rather than leaving me hanging. It was like they cared more about getting me signed up as a new patient then dealing with my immediate issue, which is ALL I cared about at the time. Wasted all of our times going through the ex-rays and paperwork to get me set up as a new patient because after that I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! If you want a good new dentist in town check out Kathleen Dental, Dr. Colucci. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Paul was outstanding! They were very informative and shared all the options. Rather than try to upsell me, they explained things thoroughly and allowed me to make the decisions. This is my new dental office for life.

Merides, Odalis, and Dr. Catania are exceptional at their jobs. I love how they treat you with respect and kindness. I am two weeks today since my extraction of 17 teeth. I have been so happy with my temporary dentures. Today I get my lower partials.
