His father, one of Samers heroes and mentors, has practiced internal medicine and nephrology for 35 years at The Medical Center of Georgia and at his private practice. Samers mother has been very involved in the community. She worked as a financial advisor for a local bank and was the office manager of his dads practice. His mother also played a major role instilling in him a passion for community service.

At Stratford, we were required to do a mentorship with a local business, and before then I didnt know what field I wanted to go into. I chose to do a mentorship with my childhood dentist, and from then on I knew dentistry was exactly what I wanted to do.

One of Dr. Othmans passions is giving back to the community. Growing up in Macon, he truly has a heart for the city and his goal for Advanced Dental Arts is to be a vital part of the community. He has worked hard to develop a restorative dental clinic at the Macon Volunteer Clinic and continues to volunteer there regularly. Dr. Othman also serves on various committees in our community, including the Mercer University Alumni Board and the Georgia Dental Association Executive Committee.

Dr. Samer Othman enjoys hiking, kayaking, working out, and boxing in his spare time. He is a huge football fan and his favorite sports teams include Mercer University football, University of Georgia football, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Miami Heat.

I recently developed dental anxiety after dealing with some not so great hygienists at other offices due to extreme sensitivity with my teeth and gums. Savannah was so kind and considerate today...she made sure she stopped periodically to make sure I was ok. She took extra steps to make sure I was comfortable and even cheered me on when a few tears slipped out. I'm a 40 year old woman and it's ridiculous to cry at the dentist but when you've had someone else cause pain to your mouth it can be traumatizing. It just goes to show that even at 40 sometimes you still need a little cheering on. I'm not a hugger but I sure gave Savannah one after my appointment today just to let her know how appreciative I was. Let's not forget Dr. Othman!! He was extremely kind and also made sure I was comfortable. He thanked me for coming in and didn't try to sell me any ridiculous products or convince me I needed unnecessary dental work like other places. I will be back I'm so glad I found you!!!!

I went to Dr Othman's dental office about a month ago. I had a loose tooth that I thought would have to be pulled and that I would have a gap in front of my front teeth but, Dr Othman knew what he was doing and prevented me from biting down on that tooth. No more loose tooth and I can eat without fear of thinking it's going to fall out. I was in and out of the chair in 20 minutes. I highly recommend Dr O t h m a n. Thank you doctor.

Absolutely my favorite dental place, hands down! Im so glad I found this place. I'm not the type who enjoys going to the dentist but the staff is so professional and friendly! They really helped ease my nerves and talked me through everything. Especially loved my hygienist Jessica--she was the sweetest and paid attention to every detail in her work!

Best dental office in Macon! I'm so glad I found them. It's so clean the staff is so nice and there hardly a wait time. My husband was going to a different dental office and hated it due to their lack of professionalism and punctuality. I made him an appointment for his next cleaning at advanced dental arts and he loved it just as much as I did! We don't plan on switching.. ever!

Here's my honest, fair, and thorough review of ADA. It's long, but worth the read if you are on the fence about this place. First, let me start by saying that I abhor going to the dentist's office; any dentist. Not in the "ugh, I hate going to the dentist" kind of way, but in the "oh my God I'm going to die in the dentist's chair", gut-wrenching, earth-shattering kind of way. Always have. My teeth have always been terrible and I've never in my life *not* had a cavity or two in my mouth, 4 so far have led to root canals (0/10 stars, do not recommend RCs, avoid at all costs). Anyway, my first trip to ADA was not a casual "oh, maybe I'll go to the dentist today" visit. My right front tooth was so severely decayed that it broke in half while I was at work. I hadn't been to a dentist in years due to the aforementioned terror. A quick Google search told me that ADA was worth a try. I called, on the verge of tears and was met with Katie's friendly voice. She squeezed me onto the schedule surprisingly quickly. Every interaction that I've had with her has been pleasant. She remembers me every time I call and she always goes out of her way to accommodate me without ever seeming inconvenienced. I came in and immediately took note of how clean and modern the office is. Shelby, the lead assistant took me back. I told her how nervous I was and she immediately put me at ease. She has a friendly, inviting demeanor and a great sense of humor. Sharing a few laughs before my dreaded dental work settled my nerves just a little bit. Then I met Dr. Othman. This man is cool as a cucumber. He is very laid back, calm, and very pleasant to speak with. The nicest guy ever. He's knowledgeable and his finger is on the pulse of dental technology. He works very efficiently but he's also personable and takes time to discuss anything you need more information on. He fixed my tooth and made a plan to get my oral health back on track, prioritizing my most critical areas. He broke things down into bite-sized (no pun intended) chunks so I didn't get too overwhelmed. I came back soon thereafter for my first routine cleaning in years. Lenia, the hygienist, is nice as can be. She always takes a personal interest in what's going on with me. She always asks "how are things going? Are you doing okay?" And her memory is incredible. I see her twice a year and she somehow remembers minute non-dental-related details from our conversations. She makes me feel important. Although everything I've mentioned is grand and certainly makes ADA a great office, there's one detail that has kept me coming back; something that I've never experienced in any of the other dozen offices I've been in... *I never leave feeling ashamed*. Every other dentist I've ever met has treated me as though I got myself into this horrible mess with my teeth and they're going to wag their finger at me while they do me the favor of fixing my teeth. Not ADA. They never make me feel that way. I come in feeling ashamed and overwhelmed. I leave feeling supported and hopeful. They don't treat me as though I've made a mess that they're having to clean up. Lenia told me today at my cleaning "we're a team and we're going to get through this together. Life happens and that's okay". That's why I've been coming back for over two years when I'd otherwise never been to the same dentist more than twice. I'm not trying to say that Dr. Othman and his team made me love going to the dentist. That will never happen. They did, however, make it bearable, which honestly is the best that I could've ever hoped for. They're truly awesome.

I hastily left a one star review earlier about calling them. Turns out their phones are down. Overall their services are great and I wish they had an office in the state I moved to. I apologize for the snap judgement.
