Thanks to the many cases that his own dentist afforded him to observe at the time, Dr. Yost learned that the field encompassed art, creativity, science and construction all areas in which he held great interest. As an undergraduate at Albright College in the 1980s, he became fascinated by all things science. Penchant in botany and anatomy, Dr. Yost served as a student teacher in these subjects and worked in the colleges greenhouse. After graduating magna cum laude from Albright in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in biology, he attended the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. During his time at the Ivy League institution, he worked as a cardiac laboratory technician at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and as a student teacher in histology, anatomy and physiology. In 1988, Dr. Yost graduated from Penn in the top 10% of his class and won numerous awards in prosthetic dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Yost entered a general practice residency at the Medical College of Philadelphia, where he received valuable training in hospital-based dentistry and discovered the field of implant dentistry. During his residency he worked with many well-respected surgeons and was introduced to all types of surgical cases, from trauma to oral surgery. To continue excelling and blazing new trails in dentistry, Dr. Yost completes over 150 hours of continuing education each year, primarily through theSpear Institute Educationprogram one of the most respected advanced education programs in the country. With dentists mandated to take only 25 hours of continued studies, heightened learning is his passion and commitment to his patients. Dr. Yost is a member of theAmerican Dental Associationand theDelaware State Dental Society. He also participates in two study groups, one of which is Spear. As a nationally renowned expert in the fields of cosmetic, restorative and reconstructive dentistry, Dr. Yost lectures at conferences, sharing his experience and skill with other dental professionals. He is also resolved to delivering superior patient care by combining new technologies and techniques with traditional treatments to provide the highest quality of dental care possible. Dr. Yost is married to his wife, Patti, and has three children: Kerry, Bryan and Sasha. When he has time, he enjoys hobbies such as carpentry (he has his own workshop), landscaping, astronomy and fishing. He credits his father, a general contractor with whom he worked from the age of 14, for a strong work ethic and sense of perfectionism. He is well trained in all the building trades and has completely renovated two houses in the past 10 years.
Kim comes to us after working in Oral Surgery for 17 years. She is compassionate about her work and loves coming into a warm, welcoming office and team that is here with Dr. Yost every day. With her long time experience she knows how important patient care is and how to make sure she listens and explains patients treatments in full detail.
In her personal time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She spends her summers at the beach, relaxing and soaking up the sun She is also a dedicated dog Mom to a Boxer named Murphy.
Born in Rome, Italy, and fluent in Italian, Fran graduated St. James High School in Carneys Point, New Jersey. She is a graduate of Temple University School of Dental Hygiene and a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association as well as the New Castle County Dental Hygiene Association. Over 40 years experience and I am still passionate about the quality hygiene therapy I provide for my patients, because I understand how it impacts their overall health, not just their oral health. Married with two grown children and two grandsons who are the loves of my life, I have enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Arizona and Italy to visit friends and family. Fran enjoys walking, hiking and golfing.

If you didn't know, Dr. Yost is the G-O-A-T! He completed a complicated procedure on a lower molar that has been lingering since the start of the Pandemic. Dr. Yost saved my tooth by rebuilding the top half of the molar and reshaped it to correct a bite-strike issue - his Michael Angelo. I have a brand new, hand-crafted tooth, created with a gentle touch! His bedside manner is unmatched. He kept me informed during the entire process and ensured that I didn't have any discomfort. He then provided details on the rational for the needed steps of the process and what to expect post-procedure. Then, he checked on me later in the day to ensure that all was well. He always goes above and beyond the call, with every patient. So, now you know. Dr. Yost is the best that has ever practiced dentistry - Advanced Dental Artistry - the G-O-A-T! I am so thankful.

Everyone ware so nice and professional! Dr. Yost actually emailed me back when I filled out a question on his website while he was on a plane..very impressive! I went for his 1/2 hour free consultation and was happy how he explained my situation in various stages of what could happen. I booked for an hour with him to see if this would a something that I may want to pursue further.

I posted the review below a few years ago, but am reminded with every follow up visit how grateful I am to Dr Yost for having changed my life with his artistry in giving me a smile that I can be happy to show off. Having met him with a totally challenging condition with loose teeth, swollen gums and large gaps, I would never have dreamed that I could actually feel myself again and be proud of a smile that much resembled the one I had prior to the horrible condition. He is truly amazing in his field of work! I would highly recommend Dr Kenneth Yost due to the fact that he is not only a highly skilled dentist in the art of prosthodontics but he demonstrates a genuine care and concern for his patients. I was very impressed with a call received the day prior to my procedure and a follow up call afterwards too. I know that I am in good hands with Dr Yost and value his art of perfection in the artistry of his profession.

Best dentist hands down! I've been seeing Dr. Yost for over 30 years. As a previous dental assistant I've seen good and bad dental work and Dr. Yost is one of the best! I even drive 100 miles from the DC area because he's the only one I trust. If you're looking for a new dentist, make it Dr. Yost!

I was referred to Dr. Yost by another dentist in the area because I had an unfortunate incident in 2019 with one of my front teeth that left it slightly discolored. Several repair attempts had already been made which were unsuccessful. I was beginning to think that I had a problem that was going to be impossible to fix. However, Dr. Yost was able to repair my front tooth and match it perfectly with my other teeth. I am beyond happy with the work he did and so grateful that I can put this whole incident behind me. I can smile with confidence again! Dr. Yost is an incredible cosmetic dentist and a very nice man. Everyone in the office is so kind and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Yost and his entire team.
