Dr. Brian Raskin is the founder of Advanced DDS, and has been practicing and innovating in the field since 1984.He earned his BS at Adelphi University, and his Dental Degree New York University's College of Dentistry. His post-graduate residencies at both Booth Memorial Medical Centerin Queens and Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx allowed Dr. Raskin to further develop his approach to dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Raskin has invested heavily in integrating new technology for his practice to ensure patients receive top-of-the-line treatments using cutting-edge methods. Dr. Raskin specializes in cosmetic, periodontal, surgical, implant, and general dental care.

Dr. Pat D 'Orlando has over 15 years experience practicing General Dentistry, and is well-versed in IV Sedation Dentistry and the expert placement of Dental Implants. 'Dr. D,' as his patients affectionately call him, received his BS at Long Island University 's CW Post, and graduated from Stony Brook University 's School of Dental Medicine. After graduating, Dr. D completed his residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY, where he fine-tuned his methods to provide patients with a comfortable, anxiety-free experience while in the dental chair. Dr. D specializes in General Dentistry and Implant placement.

Dr. Michelle Steblai, a lifelong Long Islander, has been in private dental practice for over a decade. After graduating from Stony Brook University's School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Steblai completed her residency at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. Dr. Steblai is always keeping up on the latest treatment methodologies thanks to a rigorous commitment to continuing education, and focuses on the provision of top-quality dental care.

Dr. Dilmarys Pea earned her BS at SUNY Binghamton, and studied dentistry at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She specializes all forms of General Dentistry, as well as in easing the fears of patients who experience anxiety while sitting in the dentist's chair,

Dr. Jose Rivero, born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, is a Board Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist. Dr. Rivero earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in Venezuela, and practiced for several years. After coming to the U.S., Dr. Rivero studied at the University of Connecticut, where he completed two years of postdoctoral training. He later accepted a position in the Dental Anesthesiology program at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, as well as an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Rivero became Board Certified by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He keeps an active private practice providing ambulatory anesthesia and is affiliated with Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he holds a teaching position. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Dr. Sybil Padavathil completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and immediately moved to the Northeast to start her dental education. She graduated from Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and relocated to New York to begin her general dentistry career. After completing her residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY Dr. Sybil decided that her passion was working with children. She then completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She believes assessing each child's dental treatment based on their specific needs and making their dental experience as easy and fun as possible. Dr. Sybil is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Dr. Shylon Mathew is a New York native who was born and raised in Queens, NY. Knowing from a young age she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, she found her calling in dentistry and headed upstate to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with thesis honors from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

She then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at New York Medical College in Westchester, New York. She continued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident. During her residency, she received extensive training in behavior management and treating children, adolescents, and patients with special needs as well as all forms of sedation.

Dr. Mathew strives to make every childs visit a positive experience while building healthy habits and providing high quality dental treatment. She tailors each dental visit to each child and familys unique needs, and her gentle demeanor and transparency will instantly make you and your child feel at home.
