I completed my DDS in 1991. I immediately went into practice and I have loved every minute of it. Continuing my education has always been an important part on being a dentist. I attended Dr. Duggan Institute of Dentistry to take Fundamental Restorative Technique Advance Standing in 2011. I am certified in implant dentistry from UCLA as well as a certified Invisalign provider. I also am a member of the Camarillo dental study club. Being able to help my patients feel comfortable and being gentle while doing the dental procedures is something I am very proud of. I love meeting every one of our patients as well as new patient who walk in. I joined the Advanced Cosmetic and General Dentistry practice in Sep. of 2016 while I have had over 15 years of clinical experiences. I am blessed with a team that genuinely concerned with the well-being of the practice and patients, we all work together to provide the best experience to our patients.
Addy AlfaroR.D.H (Registered Dental Hygienist) was born and raised in Ventura where she graduated from Buena High School. She has been in the dental field for seven years as a dental assistant and now as a dental hygienist. It was her interest in the dental field that influenced her to further her education at Oxnard College where she graduated with a dental hygiene diploma. Addy is friendly, caring and an out-going individual who truly has a love and passion for her profession. She considers herself extremely lucky to have such amazing relationship with her co-workers. She has continued working with Dr. Salem the new owner of the practice.
Citlali Cardenas Cici has been a part of Dr. Salems team since 2017. She graduated from Charter College at the top of her class, receiving her Dental Assisting credentials.She is always smiling and in a positive mood. Our patients love her! Her favorite aspect of dentistry is helping and communicating with patients. Cici has grown up, and still lives in nearby Fillmore CA. She looks forward to a long career in dentistry.
Sandy Bryan (Bookkeeper) has been a part of Dr. Borquez team for 30 years. She started her association with Dr. Borquez as a dental assistant and eventually assumed all bookkeeping responsibilities. Sandy has been a major asset to Dr. Borquezs dental practice. She has continued working with Dr. Salem the new owner of the practice.

No one ever answers the phone, either you get hung up in or put "on hold" to "leave a message" the operator doesn't even know the doctor, they said they are a company who works for many doctors so they don't know if they are open this specific location is open .. I mean ...

Fantastically thorough doctor, extremely gentle hygienist and the most caring and accommodating staff around! If going to the dentist could some how be a good time, it would be this office. Never have I had a similarly positive experience.

Fantastically thorough doctor, extremely gentle hygienist and the most caring and accommodating staff around! If going to the dentist could some how be a good time, it would be this office. Never have I had a similarly positive experience.

Dr Salem was a great addition to an already great practice. She is kind, caring and very knowledgable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would definently recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

I have been a patient of Dr. Borquez for many years. I was concerned and skeptical trying a new dentist when he retired. After an appointment with Dr. Salem, seeing how gentle and kind she was, I am now at ease and she has now has a new patient. She is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail, which is extremely important to me. The office staff is another plus for me. They are helpful and pleasant to deal with! The office is an all around 5 stars for me.
