I am the Office Manager and started my career in Wisconsin, where I grew up, as a dental assistant and moved to Seattle in 2011 where I have been helping patients at Advanced Care Dentistry. The technology and extended services we offer at Advanced Care Dentistry make this office also unique. I enjoy being a part of this team and helping patients with insurance and financial questions. When not working I love spending time with my dogs at Greenlake, my friends, reading and exploring all that the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Hi, my name is Shirley. I am a Dental Hygienist, and have been a part of Dr. Marxens team since July 2003. I was born and grew up in Latvia and moved to the Seattle area in 1993. I have been a health care professional for over 20 years 8 years in the nursing field and the past 12 years in dentistry. Working with Dr. Marxen introduced me to another level of dentistry available to patients. The ability to offer IV sedation opened up a great opportunity to many patients, who wanted to have healthy and beautiful teeth, but were avoiding dentists due to the fear from previous experiences. The comfort of my patients is of the utmost importance to me. I love being a team member at our clinic because we are constantly taking continuing education courses and using the newest materials and equipment to provide the best care to our patients.
Hello, my name is Annisa. I began my career in dental hygiene in 2000, and have been with Dr. Marxen and Advanced Care Dentistry since 2004. I find dentistry to be an amazing field! Not only am I able to participate in helping others achieve overall better health, but I am also able to get to know and laugh with our patients and have a great time while working. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending all my time with my husband and our two boys.

Shirley was very friendly, accommodating to my needs and desires, did a nice job with cleaning, corrected a few things on the computer, helped answer my questions even about my husband's future appointments.My teeth looked and felt cleaner when I left.

After searching for a dentist to do major surgery I finally went with Advanced Care Dentistry. Dr Marxen is an amazing man and man of many trades. Advanced Care not only does dentistry but they have a variety of services for skin and all around health alternatives. The staff is amazing as well and try to get to know you and make you feel comfortable. I will return as a client for sure Stephen Patrick

I am always well cared for and listened to by every staff, from the wonderful front desk receptionists to the dentists and hygienists here. Iam very pleased with their care and work. I have dental anxieties but never feel nervous or anxious when iam at Advanced care dentistry. I highly recommned their services and the wonderful treatments done here by the dentists.

EXCEPTIONAL ranking for Dr. Marxen and all his helpful staff! Everyone in this office are amazing, they are professional and friendly, we feel so welcome and being taken good care, thanks! Dr. Marxen's with highest advanced knowledge and technology in the dental industry, he is the BEST! This August, I had a bad dental surgery experience from an Implant Periodontist, it's a nightmare and half way don't know what to do ... then very lucky to find Dr. Marxen to fix it for me, plus 2 more extraction-implants, the process went very well, thanks! Dr. Marxen introduced the latest technology stem cells L-PRF for faster healing and better results, especially with the IV-sedation which can relief my fear. Top Rating from us!

When you walk into Dr. Marxen's office you are greeted with a smile and by name. The team is friendly, knowledgeable , and attentive. Dr. Marxen keeps up to date with the newest equipment for his patients and staff.
