I completed my Undergraduate Degree at S.U.N.Y. Albany, and my dental training at Fairleigh Dickenson Universitys College of Dental Medicine in Hackensack, NJ. I graduated with honors in 1986. I then studied cosmetic dentistry under Dr. Ross Nash at the Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Charlotte, NC, and am an active member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Since beginning my sole proprietorship in 1997, I have completed thousands of hours in continuing education courses while learning all types of dental treatments. I average ten full days of continuing education each year. The classes and courses I take involve subjects in Oral Implantology, Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Cosmetic Restorations, Oral Rehabilitation and Sleep Apnea. The materials we use are improving every day, and it is my obligation to be aware of the latest procedures, materials, and equipment available.
After over 30 years of helping people, my dentistry continues to improve every day. My enjoyment at providing dentistry increases every year as the technology and equipment available improve. This gives me the ability to help patients I could not help before. I can do dentistry faster, more efficiently, and more comfortably than ever before. I love dentistry because my job allows me to improve lives by removing pain and restoring confidence and self-esteem! When a patient leaves me with a relieved smile, it always makes my day, and I am grateful for what I do.
I am always striving to bridge the gap between oral health and general health by educating local physicians about the connection between oral health and how it can affect the total health of their patients. I also represent the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine by educating local physicians about the role the dental professional have in treating patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Hello! I am the office manager as well as a certified dental assistant. I have been working with Dr. Oyangen here at Advanced Aesthetics since 1977, and in the dental field since 1986. In our office I help with billing, payroll, and wherever else I am needed! I have worked alongside of many doctors throughout my career and I believe Dr. Oyangen has become one of the best in his profession. He is a perfectionist and goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are comfortable and happy with the end results. When I am not in the office I enjoy hanging out with my ever-growing family! We have expanded even more and now my time is spent with our two Labradoodles, four children, two grandsons and now a granddaughter!
Thank you for calling Dr. Oyangens office, this is Annie, I can help you! I am the patient coordinator and have worked with Dr. Oyangen and his amazing team since 2005. My duties include patient treatment planning, coordinating financial arrangements , and researching insurance information. I am also able to help on the clinical side if needed since I am cross-trained. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, baking lots of goodies and looking for new adventures to add to my bucket list!
I am Dr. Oyangens lead dental assistant and joined this progressive team in 2011. I became a dental assistant in 2006 and have not looked back! Dr. Oyangen always strives to provide our patients with state of the art technology and I am happy to be a part of this ever-changing field. When I am not working I enjoy time with my family at our lake house in upstate New York.
I have worked with Dr. Oyangen as his hygienist since 1999 and in the capital region area for over thirty-three years! My goal has always been to help my patients achieve optimal oral health so they may lead happier, healthier lives with beautiful smiles. I keep just as busy out of the office with my family as we all enjoy mountain climbing in the Adirondacks and vacationing in Maine. My older daughter just married the love of her life this past summer and my youngest is tackling college studies. Never a dull moment!

Since 2011 Ive helped manage publicity special events, reviews and website as the marketing coordinator. I enjoy learning to cook, reading my Kindle, kayaking, and movies. I try to indulge in these when my house chores are done, they just never end! Yes Dear, I will get to that! I find it best to just do it right away! My favorite movies include the New Star Trek Saga, Game of Thrones, and the Lord Of The Rings followed closely behind with the New Hobbit Movies.
I got married in December of 2014 and moved to NJ. We bought a house and I work from home now. We had our honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. It was incredible! We hope to return for our 10 year anniversary. Take a look at the honeymoon pictures on our Advanced Aesthetics Facebook page.

Dr. Oyangen and his staff are amazing. My entire family and extended family has gone to them for years from orthodontic, to cleaning to even an early oral cancer detection thanks to him! They are all very caring. I most recently went through some oral surgery I was extremely nervous about...but Dr. O and his assistant Michele made me 100% comfortable through the entire procedure. I cannot say enough about the entire practice! Top notch in my book! Thank you Advanced Aesthetics team!

Best dentist. Amazing bedside manner. I was always terrified of the dentist until I started coming here. Great staff, very informative and oyangen tells you everything that's being done during the procedure.

Had to have my first root canal and I am so very glad I chose Dr. Oyangen! He put me at ease and explained everything he was doing through the whole procedure. His assistant Cathy was amazing also. Top of the line service and their constant checking to make sure I was pain free was great. I would highly recommend Dr. Oyangen to my family and friends!

Best office & staff there is! Never a long wait and Dr. Oyangen always makes me feel right at ease. Love! I have extreme sensitivity in my teeth & gums but my cleaning was painless. Office follows the most stringent policies of cleanliness to insure safety to their patients & staff! Kudos!!

I have been going to Dr. Oyangen for years and I am always 100% happy!! Never rushes me, he listens!! always provides me detailed information on what he is doing during my visit. The whole team is fantastic From Annie who fit me in fast, Michael who sees be every 6 months to Dr. Oyangen who diagnosed my issue and took care of it fast and painlessly. Michelle assisted and I was called the next day to make sure everything was all right. Advanced Aesthetics is in every way the best! I never looked forward to going to the dentist before!

Dr. O came highly recommended to me from several people. My first experience with their office was great. The staff and Dr. O take the time at every step of the visit to explain what they are doing. I had throbbing tooth pain and had suffered with it for five days. Dr. Oyangen took me on as a new patient And saw me within one day of my initial phone call. On my first visit he diagnosed the problem accurately, rebuilt a tooth and performed a root canal. I left the office pain-free and I am now a full-time patient. Well Done Dr. O. !

I love this office and all the staff. I went to Dr Oyangen years ago and returned to him again last year because my dentist could not do the procedure I needed. Dr Oyangen does not send you to see specialist because he does everything. He is current on all the latest dental treatments. I will never go to anyone else.

I was uncertain what going to a dentist in a pandemic would be like but the experience was great and I felt really safe. PPE was abundant, they checked temperature before letting me in, I waited in the car til they were ready for me, fans and HEPA filters were set up to protect both patients and personnel. And my teeth felt great after their cleaning!
