Dr. Mourad Rahim is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, and the University of Blida, Algeria. He has been practicing dentistry since 1986 and is fluent in English, French, and Arabic
Dr. Rahim is a former teaching assistant in General Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. He received certification in full mouth rehabilitation from New York University and has had extensive hands-on training in cosmetic dentistry, sleep apnea, TMJ, Lumineers, and dental implants. Dr. Rahim is continually striving for the best in general dentistry.
Dr. Soha Alkoka is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine . She is a former clinical instructor and a teaching assistant in General Restorative Dentistry, a preclinical laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania dental school. Fluent in English, Arabic, and Russian, she practiced dentistry in Stamford, Connecticut, before moving to Rhode Island.
Dr. Alkoka is a general dentist who especially enjoys endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Gentle and patient, her goal for her patients is to remove the fear of dentistry and make their visits to the office as pleasant as possible. She keeps abreast of the latest technology in dentistry and regularly attends continuing education courses.
Dr. Alkoka lives in Rhode Island with her husband Mourad and two daughters. She is a member of the American Dental Association , Rhode Island Dental Association , and the South County Dental Association.
Marissa has been a registered dental hygienist since 2014 but has many more years of experience in the dental field. Marissa started as a dental assistant in 2002 and has also worked at the front desk. She is detailed oriented making her cleanings very thorough and is gentle with her hands. Her main priority is making her patients feel comfortable and letting them know she has their best interest in mind.
Marissa is a Massachusetts native but has always had ties to Westerly. She grew up visiting her grandparents who lived on Winnapaug Road. Marissa now resides in Westerly with her husband and their 3 kids. On the weekends, you can find Marissa cheering for her son at the Bulldog football games, biking, walking on the beach, or exploring new places in the area
Amber attended the Community College of Rhode Island where she earned her Associates degree in Applied Sciences of Dental Hygiene. She loves helping her patients find new ways of having successful home care.
Sarah graduated from the Community College of RI dental assisting program. She enjoys helping patients obtain their best smiles. In her free time, she enjoys taking selfies with her cats and watching movies
Laura attended Three Rivers Community College where she completed her dental assisting certification. She has a passion for photography, is an avid reader, and when she's not working she is most likely at the beach
Our licensed dental hygienists work closely with our doctors, assessing oral health and counseling patients on oral hygiene strategies. Treatment is provided in a pleasant and encouraging environment.

I had an appointment with Dr.Rahim yesterday. The doctor and staff are so kind and professional. The office is state of the art. Best dental experience I ever had.

I am impressed with not only the skill and professionalism that you have. You also are not afraid to spend some money on new and advanced equipment. I know some Dentist still using a hand drill and vice grips to do their job.

Newly decorated waiting room with very comfy barrel chairs. Calm colors. The whole staff are friendly and gentle. They do it all--cleaning, filling, crowns and inserts. Dr Rahim is skilled and kind. The hygienists are so good you hardly know they're working except afterwArds your teeth and gums feel so good.

After my previous dentist retired, I was leary about finding a new practice; however, I am SO glad I found Dr. Rahim and his staff! Everyone in the practice is so nice and just make you feel as though you are in good hands!

Best service you can ask for, I was short on time today because I had to get back to work & Joanne really got me right in & out. Also, if you ever have a problem & you need to come in between visits, they get you in as quick as possible, sometimes same day. Couldn't ask for a better dental group & Dr. R is the best.
