Better known as Dr. Z by his patients and staff, Dr. Zollinger has been practicing dental care for over 30 years and is currently a general dentist practicing in the Vadnais Heights and White Bear Lake area. He has been a resident of St. Paul for over 60 years and graduated from Roseville High School in 1971. He went on to complete Dental School at the University of Minnesota. After practicing in St. Paul for 21 years, Paul decided to move his practice to Vadnais Heights. The move allowed him to design a state-of-the-art facility that accommodates all the latest dental procedures relating to preventive, restorative, orthodontic, implant and cosmetic dental treatment.
Dr. Z is also an avid volunteer in the community and his local church. He also loves volunteering in Haiti to provide dental care to areas struggling with dental care options. Dr. Zollinger loves volleyball and luckily gets to play weekly with his boys. He is involved in numerous leadership positions. He was the President of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Minnesota Dental Association along with volunteering as the President of the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Z relishes spending time with his family. He has four children and fourteen grandchildren. He and his wife, Stephanie, enjoy the outdoors, sailing, travel, photography and are smitten with their new pup Zoey

This was the nicest Dental Office that I have ever been in. The people were so friendly and helpful - from the reception desk to the Hygienist, to the Dentist. Love the new dentist - he was so professional and took the time to understand my wishes and explained my options. The office was clean, well run and had the latest equipment. They definitely earned my business. Truly refreshing. 6 stars!

This dental office is great. My second visit was for cleaning. Chance did a thorough and gentle cleaning. Dr. Z is one of the best dentists I have been to and I have been to a lot of them. Staff is very friendly. I will definitely keep continue to do business with them.

Dr Z is the best dentist I've ever dealt with!! In fact all of his staff are amazing and actually care about your teeth and well being. I highly recommend advanced family dental to anyone needing any type of dental work!!

Very accommodating and friendly staff. I am also impressed by their attention to detail when it comes to the patient. Their scheduling staff is always very flexible and easy to work with. Lil B is worth the price of admission alone!

I thought I was getting my teeth fixed in babe-a-lonia.... You know that land where the chicks feed you grapes and fan you when you're hot Besides the great scenery, and totally awesome visuals. The dentist was most excellent, he walked me right through the process and made me feel comfortable. Due to fear from previous experiences with Dentists and Dental Hygienists along with a very busy life I hadn't visited a dental office for a very long time. I expressed this to the receptionist when I made the appointment, she listened and advised me that she would make a note in my file and assured me that I would be cared for. Today was my first visit and I have never had an experience like this one! I am so grateful, I am grateful to the friend who recommended me, to Annie who did my cleaning and the entire team at Advanced Family Dental. Thank you for listening and providing such quality care!

I told Annie she is really good at her job. Really good!!! She makes going to the dentist much more pleasant than would otherwise be the case. Dr. Z is lucky to have her as part of his practice. Office staff also was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. All in all, a good visit.

So this may sound gross but It's been 20+ yrs since I've been to the dentist, I know shame on me lol! Dr.Z took me in within 1 day later with tooth pain 9.5 out 10 as new patient which completely blew me away. I needed a wisdom tooth Root canal and 1 wisdom tooth pulled! Dr. Z and his staff are a life saver! I got my tooth pulled after taking x-rays, and a partial root canal in one visit. For one Dr.Z said I don't need All my wisdom teeth pulled which was a relief since I've never had them removed and he explained it's important to keep them and better for your body if their in good shape. Their formal and Very professional and I love coming in. So that day I scheduled 3 appointments. I have a blast when I go and the staff are Outstanding Especially Char and Annie. So if read to the end great, even though it's been too long since I've been to the Dentist, they were honest with me and said I do very well at brushing and we All were surprised how good my teeth actually are. Thanks to lots of milk and my Sonicare tooth brush! I can't wait to go back and chat with everyone. I recommend Dr.Z to anyone that needs a dentist 10/10. Thanks Advance Family Dental

I was the recipient of a new crown. All the procedures were down very professionally. Along the way, I was informed about what was happening and why. I was also asked if any part of the procedure was causing discomfort. It wasn't. After a day's time has gone by, I am not at all aware of the position of the crown. It is a perfect fit.
