Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Wright moved to the Pacific Northwest at age 21, attended Bellevue Community College and continued at the University of Oregon. In 1989, she graduated with honors from Oregon Health & Science University. She is known as a lifelong learner and continuing education junkie, taking more than 100 hours of CE annually.
Dr. Wright earned the prestigious Masters Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 2011. She has actively served professional associations in leadership roles, such as the past president of the Oregon AGD and past trustee for the Oregon Dental Association (ODA). She is currently the incoming chair of the ODA Leadership Development
Committee and of the AGD National PACE Council. Dr. Wright is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Headache Society and Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Wright shares her office location with her husband, Noel Tenoso, a private practice physical therapist. They have two daughters; their oldest is at the University of Oregon and their youngest is in the West Linn Wilsonville School District. Together, the family enjoys traveling, cooking, eating of course and exploring the great outdoors.

Came to them for an emergency and was offered treatment options and there consequences. My treatment experience impressed me so much I returned for a complete dental evaluation and my treatment is under way. These folks have the knowledge skills and abilities for quality care.

I've been a patient and family friend of Dr. Wright for years. About 4 years ago she recommended I have a gum grafting procedure as a solution to my receding gums on my bottom front teeth. I YouTubed the procedure and was pretty freaked out, I had a lot of questions. Despite her recommendations I kept putting this procedure off because of my anxiety. Throughout this time I would pull my lip down and was really bothered by how my gums looked. I know I needed to get it done and that made me even more anxious. Ultimately I scheduled the procedure because I'll be moving out of state for educational purposes and may be without dental care. I had the gum graft done by Dr. Wright in April 2022. I work in the medical field and I personally opted to be a patient in a continued education event for dentists in the Portland metro area. An hour before the procedure I took a medication Dr. Wright prescribed that help me stay relaxed and alleviated my anxiety. I was awake throughout the procedure and I'm happy that I was, because I saw and heard multiple dentists compliment Dr. Wright on her skills. By the end I had several dentists tell me she did wonderful job. My recovery from the procedure has gone really well and the tissue is healing up just as expected. I'm so glad I got this procedure done by Dr. Wright, and had I known it would go so well I would have gotten it done sooner.

Normally I would give 1 star for this reason, but I'm gonna give 2 because I initially had a good experience during my first appointment and the hygienists are pretty nice. However, during my appointment, I was overloaded with information about a dietary/dental/whatever else plan that seemed incredibly over-restrictive to me and could likely drive me into potentially having an eating disorder if started as soon as it seemed like it would need to be started. I left your office in tears and can't go back anyway because as of January, you don't take my insurance. But even if you did, I wouldn't want to. I deal with PTSD and anything that seems over restrictive is a huge trigger for me because of what I have been through. Hopefully you don't send any more clients home bawling anymore

Dr. Wright and her staff have been our family dentist for years. Even though we left West Linn 3 years ago now living in Vancouver we still make the trip because it's worth it. Our reasons are many. Communication is easy, the dental work is exemplary, not oversold, they run on time and they utilize new technology. It's a pleasant visit (as far as dentists go)!

Dr. Wright and her staff were very caring, efficient, and professional. Having been to several dentists over the years, she was the most detailed and thorough I've ever experienced and I felt she answered my questions carefully. I am happy to give her 5 stars!!

Been going to Advance Dental for years. The staff is amazing... professional, kind, efficient and the practice is extremely clean with top of the line medical equipment for diagnosing and applications. Dr Wright explains diagnosis and options for treatment so the best choice can be made for my health plan. I highly recommend Advance Dental!

They were able to work me into their busy schedule since I needed a temporary crown for the one I lost. Dr White and her staff did such a professional fix that you can't tell which tooth is a temp compared with my other crowns. The staff is very friendly, professional and always willing to go the extra mile to assist me as a patient and I really appreciate that.

Dr. Wright is very knowledgeable and compassionate. The exam was thorough. She answered all my questions and uncovered my hidden issues. I am grateful for her care and suggestions, and exercises to work on tendonitis. I have hope I can reduce pain level.
