I started my implant process back in March and Dr. Harrell and his entire team have been so awesome!! They were so compassionate and patient with me thru every appointment. I am so grateful for the great service I received! Highly recommend!

Caring, knowledgeable personnel throughout the practice. They are all perfectionists with dental care. Amazing dental practice! When I was living out of town, I traveled 200 miles for two years so that I could continue to be their patient. They are that good!

I had another positive experience at Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne. I was taken back for a teeth cleaning right on time, and I feel my hygienist did a very thorough cleaning and inspection of my mouth. I was also able to make my next appointment and pay for the visit with my hygienist, not having to stop at another desk. This was convenient and a time saver! I would highly recommend this practice!

Simply AWESOME! There is nothing I can say to adequately express the positive experience from beginning to end that Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne provided me. Like many people, a trip to the dentist does not top my list of favorite places to go, so I am always a little nervous. Unfortunately while I was having lunch one day, one of my back molars broke off. I was not in pain but knew the dreaded trip was inevitable. By word of mouth I was told about Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne. I called and they were able to arrange an appointment for me within a few days. I learned that they are open every other Friday for dental emergencies which is quite impressive given that not many offices provide such a service. When I walked in I was greeted by a cheerful receptionist and had just a brief wait in their beautifully decorated, calming reception area. They had the TV on a channel that displayed a scene of being underwater in the ocean and as an avid scuba diver I knew I was in the right place. :) Rainey, one of their dental assistants, came to greet me with the same cheerful, happy nature and immediately put me at ease. She asked how I was doing and genuinely cared that I was nervous. She reassured me and talked with me the entire time she was taking X-rays, etc. She explained everything and was very confident and kind. She even brought me a blanket because like all Dr.'s offices...it was a bit chilly:) Dr. Chavez came in and again greeted me with kindness and caring. He too explained everything he was going to do and made sure I was comfortable. There was music, a TV on the ceiling, and I even got a little "laughing gas" to take the edge off which was something else I truly appreciated. I ended up needing a crown and they were able to accommodate me the same day. I was calm and relaxed the entire time....Dr. Chavez made that top priority. The next week they were able to work me in for a cleaning and placement of my permanent crown. Again, I was greeted with smiles and positivity and I can't express enough how important that is ...especially in the climate of today's world. My hygienist, Hunter, was gentle, skilled, funny, and kind and again appreciated the fact that I had dentophobia(it's real...look it up:)) Dr. Chavez and Rainey then meticulously placed my permanent crown and I was on my way home. Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne is definitely the place to be if you want to be cared for by kind, caring, skilled, professional, and positive people who love what they do! 10+ stars!!!

This dentistry is the best. I've been a patient for several years and I always recommend potential patients to come here. I had written a great review on my first visit (under a now deleted gmail account), and years later, my opinion on this place is just as great. Coming here is a choice made in prioritizing excellence. Their prices are extremely fair in correlation to the service you receive. I recently introduced my fiance to this place and she is just as delighted and impressed as I've been. We hope and pray for Dr Harrell and his staffs continued success and we are grateful to have found them.

This is the best dental office I have ever used and I have had dental issues since my early 20's. Everyone is friendly and professional. Your teeth are in good hands with Dr. Harrell. The new dentist in the practice is Dr. Chavez. He is very good too. Very gentle.

I have been a patient of Dr Harrell's for almost two years and can say that I have never been treated or cared for by a dental office as well as I have with Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne. Hunter, my hygienist, is amazing. I just recently had Zoom whitening done and WOW! what a difference. My teeth look white and refreshed - it took 30 years off my dull 60+ colored smile. Becca was attentive during the process, and I walked out wondering why it took me so long to do this! If you are looking for a dental office that is professional, fun and truly care about your smile - this is the place. I couldn't be happier with Dr Harrell and his staff.

I always dreaded getting cleanings but todays visit was wonderful. My last visit I was encouraged to floss nightly and get an electric toothbrush and I listened. What a big difference.

I have been searching for a general dentist with specialized services in the South Charlotte area. After much research, I came across Dr Harrell who by all accounts seemed professional, accomplished, experienced, caring, etc. The site listed only Dr. Harrell as a provider and stated that they were taking new patients. I reached out and received a prompt response today. However, I was told that I would be seeing some other doctor. We went back and forth trough emails to address some questions but each time I was told that I would be seeing this other dentist. In my final email communication, I specifically asked if Dr. Harrell would not accept me as a new patient. No response - although I do appreciate it is the first day back for the week so this patient care coordinator may be busy. Now, I appreciate that Dr. Harrell may not be taking new patients. However, nowhere on the site is any other dentist (or their credentials) listed. Look...transparency is key. No one wants to be told one thing when they have every reason to expect a different outcome. It is disappointing that this is the level of service provided, but perhaps it is better to find out sooner vs. later? I did see a rather negative review at the height of the pandemic which Dr.. Harrell addressed with much professionalism. But transparency should be a requirement. Potential clients research service providers to make educated decisions and it is more than disappointing when this type of engagement occurs. It wastes everyone's time. Dr. Davis

This is the first dentist I have been to that I have felt truly cared for and felt like my anxiety was taken into consideration. Previous doctors have always brushed my anxiousness off, but all the assistants were so gentle with talking me through things. Dr. Harrell is awesome, and I'm glad I found his office. Big shout out to the front desk girls too, they are so nice!

Dr. Harrell and his staff are the Best! I've had to try other dentists due to relocation but I was never able to find a dentist I trusted like Dr. Harrell. I am so thankful I've been able to move back to Charlotte and resume my care with his practice!

Adult Dentistry's staff is amazing. I had a dentist appointment recently and had the please of meeting Hunter. She did my cleaning and xrays and is just incredible. Hunter is so professional, friendly, caring and wants to make you feel comfortable. All this and with a beautiful smile....I could see it even with her mask on. Thank you Hunter!

I have been a patient of Dr Harrell's for 12 years and have been MORE than satisfied with the care I have received. I have many dental challenges and Dr Harrell is always very innovative and accommodating, always doing what's best for me. I had 4 dental implants on the same day and it was such a breeze! Dr Harrell provided excellent care and treatment for me. I have the utmost confidence in him, Dr Ciccione and all of their staff. Dr Harrell and his staff are topnotch....always friendly, professional and considerate. Five stars to Adult Dentistry!!!

I loveeeee this place! Thank you lovely Miss Hunter, and the awesome Dr. Fernandez. I really enjoyed my visit. I went in wanting a better smile, and not only was I given options but also educated on what would be best for MY smile. They really made me feel comfortable with terrible dental anxiety, I can't see me being a patient anywhere else!
