In 2019 Dr. Della Torre was awarded the AARP Purpose Prize honoring her founding and work with Ready Set Smile. This AARP prize is the only national award that celebrates people age 50-plus who use their knowledge and life experience to solve tough social problems. Dr. Della Torre served on the Department of Human Services Dental Services Advisory Committee from 2010-2015. Additionally, Dr. Della Torre has served on several non-profit boards including Apple Tree Dental (2008-2014), serving the dental needs of families facing barriers to care, and Patchwork Quilt (2010-2014), an after-school program closing the gap for African American children on Minneapolis Northside. Dr. Della Torre resides in southwest Minneapolis with her husband, Dr. Spencer Kubo. They have three children and six grandchildren.

Dr. Alice Ottavi is a 1985 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She completed post-graduate study in general dentistry at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. I've been going here for few years and can say w/ confidence my concerns. 1st - WHY MUST YOU *TEXT* THE APPT REMINDER, JUST CALL! I missed a cleaning today(horrid waiting time) from not knowing it existed as text went to family member i cant rely on!! 2 - only a couple the dentists here are worth their salt. The rest either don't take in or wont listen to what I say. Many assistants seem frazzled/lost also. Being forced to fit a timeframe when theres complications to consider, plus getting treated like a bad child unless I over explain other issues, has never sat right w/ me. 3- The dental cleaners are fine as they're seperated - but should really be part of annual/bi-annual exam. *That* will fix the schedule problems.

Just had my teeth cleaned after almost eight years (I know, don't judge) and was absolutely dreading it. But in less than an hour it was over, no pain, no bad news from the neglect, so much supportive encouragement for me to get back on track. It's such a professional operation yet at the same time with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They're VERY careful about masking and hygiene. Appointments promptly kept. A friend recommended ADT and I'm super glad she did.

Love this place. Lovely, personable hygienists and dentists. Great with our special needs kid, staff has been patient and understanding. Out kids also love the treasure chest of prizes! The front office staff is kind and accommodating.

The team at ADT is amazing. Having dental work performed gives almost anyone some level of anxiety, but ADT takes it away. I'm repeatedly impressed at their skills, and their level of caring that you're taken care of.

The dentists are extremely condescending, the quality of work is very poor (my crown came out almost immediately and they blamed me) , and the facilities are run down. They put MA patients on a wait list that is indefinite and has no estimated time for the years I've been checking. Definitely pick somewhere else!

I'm pretty sure these healthcare "providers" just plain don't like patients. They are very condescending and uninterested in providing any information with what they're going to do or give any patient education. Pretty much the worst.

Horrific service. My crown fell out walking out the door. To fix it they gave me a small discount off a full replacement. Would not go back!!!

I always feel a part of the treatment team, they are so respectful of my needs as a patient. I have always had great confidence in Dr Knox and her ability to meet our dental needs.

They were so rude to my kids! They aren't the quietest, I'll admit, but its the dentist after all. They were told to be quiet or else we would have to leave. There was no positive engagement by them with my child, and I was treated like I wasn't even there.

My least favorite dentist I've been to (which is about 10 now). The service was very rushed with no good patient care information. They also mixed me up with another patient and almost did another procedure entirely. Won't be returning.

I have been trying to go here as an MA patient for several years. Every time I check to see if there is an opening yet, I am simply told "I'll put you on the waitlist but there's no saying how long it'll take." This is second class healthcare and makes you feel quite bad, man.

I called in yesterday because I was having extreme pain. I was a new patient and they were able to get me in right away. Once at the appointment they were quick to diagnose the problem and help get me some relief. Like many people going to the dentist is not high on the fun things to do list but I would recommend this dental office to friends and family without hesitation. Thank you Dr Knox and your team for helping me today

I get anxiety about going to the dentist and was nervous for my first appointment but the staff here were phenomenal. Both the hygienist and the dentist were very nice and professional. They do seem to have a very busy schedule but they were able to get me in for an exam and cleaning with in a week due to cancellations.

I thoroughly enjoy my experience at ADT from start to finish. I am treated incredibly well by the front office folks, to the hygienist and dentists. I highly recommend this dental practice to everyone and I will be returning for years to come!

Overall, had a nice experience at this dental office. The dentist and assistant were welcoming and competent. The only thing that was disappointing was that they didn't do a cleaning with my exam. I guess they routinely have patients come back for their cleaning? It's just also hard to find available appts. The assistant and front desk staff did work hard to find me one in another month.

I've been going to ADT dental for almost 20 years. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they use the latest technology and dental practices. For example, to create crowns they now use a scanner to image and 3D print (off site) the crown instead of a mold. Unbelievable! Also the environment is smaller and has a cozy feel. I can't say enough great things about ADT dental and their team!
