Born the youngest of seven, Dr. Edward Savidge spent his childhood growing up in the small coastal town of Westport. His family was deeply rooted in the commerical fishing and boat building industries and he quickly developed a passion for being out on the water. By the age of 15 he began commercial salmon fishing on his own. He spent many summers on his boat fishing from the Columbia River all the way up to Alaska.
After high school, Dr. Savidge attended Central Washington University graduating with a degree in Health Sciences. He continued his education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio, where he completed his dental degree. Wanting to explore the East Coast Region, Dr. Savidge joined a dental office in Connecticut for two years before returning to the Pacific Northwest. Never giving up his passion for commerical fishing, he balanced fishing with starting a dental practice in Port Townsend around 27 years ago.

Major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted in our office. We offer a 5% adjustment for cash/check payment at time of service. We also offer a 5% adjustment for all patients 70 years or older.
Our new office manager Melissa has been working in the Seattle area for the last 5 years. She had lived in the Port Townsend area for 25 years while raising her two children and working as an office manager for a different office. Melissa recently purchased a house in the area and is very excited to be returning to Port Townsend and dentistry.
Lifetime Port Townsend resident, Wendy chose the dental field straight out of high school. She pursued her dental assisting credentials through ETON Technical and has worked in the industry since 1990. Her knowledge and calm demeanor helps to educate patients and promote a relaxed environment. Admiralty Dental Center has been home to Wendy since 1991.

Fantastic dental practice. I've been seeing Dr. Savidge for about 10 years now and have always been extremely happy with my care. His knowledge and skill, friendly 'chairside' manner and his excellent team make visits as positive as a dental visit can be. Super happy with them...

I had to cancel because of my work schedule. Shana called to offer me cancellations and being flexible I was able to get in before too long. Jennifer always lets me know what she finds and what I need to do to take care of it. Dr Savidge took a look and off I went. Appreciate my dental team !

Going to Admiralty Dental Clinic is easy and friendly. From the time I entered the door until I departed, everyone put me at ease and engaged with me. My cleaning went quickly and painlessly; thank you Jennifer. I need a new mouth guard and was able to do the fitting after my exam with Dr Savage, avoiding another appointment. I was made aware of the total cost and my portion, after insurance, before treatment and fitting the mouth guard. Every step was smooth and easy. As a child, my dentist put such fear in me with abruptness and by putting all of his equipment in my mouth and then asking me questions.... so I have always dreaded going to the dentist!! This office is run efficiently, professionally and personally. I enjoy the attention they all give to detail and relating to their patients. I had to wait to get an appointment but it was well worth the wait. Dr. Savage is excellent and the staff are all congenital and helpful. It is clear that this dental office is a fun place to work and also offers excellent care. I recommend them highly!
