Bradley N. Adkins, DDS, FAGD, FICOI Dr. Adkins received his dental degree from theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.He also received advanced dentistry training in a post-graduate residency at theUniversity of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and University of Colorado Hospital. In this hospital-based residency, Dr. Adkins trained extensively to place dental implantsand provide oral surgery and endodontic services. Dr. Adkins provides dental care for patients of all ages and takes pride in working with patients to maintain excellent oral health and a beautiful smile.
Dr. Adkins and his wife, Mandy Adkins, have a son, Barringer, and a daughter, Bennett, who keep them on their toes.Dr. Adkins is a travel and outdoors enthusiast, an avid musician, and woodcrafter in his free time. He also enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer dentistry, providing services forNC Missions of Mercy,theNC Baptist Men Dental Bus, and locally at theMERCI Clinic. He is a proud supporter of many local schools and endeavors.
Dr. Adkins currently serves as President of the Craven-Jones-Pamlico Dental Society and is active with theNC Dental Society, theAmerican Dental Association, theAcademy of General Dentistry, theInternational Congress of Oral Implantologists, and theNew Bern Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Adkins is a recognized Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). These prestigious awards are bestowed on dentists who vigorously pursue continuing education in the dental field in pursuit of clinical excellence. Only a small fraction of practicing dentists achieve these fellowship awards.

I truly enjoy the friendly atmosphere and professional dental service at Adkins Dentistry. I have never had one complaint with the services or staff. I highly recommend Dr. Adkins if you are looking for a new Dentist. Great job to the entire team.

It took minutes to check in and a dental assistant was waitihg for me. I was seated in minutes and the procedure started. I thought I was late but that was not the case. Dr. Atckins entered about ten minutes later, same as my other visits, with pleasant demeanor putting me at ease. The procedure went well with no discomfort on my part. My thanks to the whole team.

I've been going to Dr Adkins for some time now. I have never had a bad visit. You wouldn't think you would ever get to where you actually look forward to going to the dentist! Staff is top professionals and everyone there cares about you the patient. Still highly recommend.

A friend referred me to Dr. Adkins when I broke a crown, but could not see my own dentist (in another state). The office fit me in within a week. Dr. Adkins and his staff were very calming and helpful! They got me squared away in the same day!

I use Adkins Dentistry as my dental care provider. As a sufferer of "white coat syndrome" I am so pleased with my choice. The staff is purely amazing ranging from their friendliness and caring to their professionalism. Dr. Adkins is about as down to earth as they come and at the same time he is passionate, thoroughly and extremely precise. By the time you leave his office, any anxiety you entered his office with is gone! If you're looking for an area dentist, as a total dental whimp, I would highly recommend Adkins Dentistry!

The staff here is awesome. I hate going to the dentist and they made me feel so much better about being there. My teeth look great and the dentist provided me with some great information. Bonus - they have a "Where's Waldo" poster on the ceiling which is hilarious.

They were so super sweet and gentle I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I hate going to the dentist but this time I walked put feeling confident and not as scared anymore. They have a wonderful staff and super helpful I will definitely be going here from now on!
