I had my wisdom tooth removed this past Monday..the appointment in its entirety took under 30 mins and was in and out . The next day they called to check in on me and to my surprise no pain . I'm four days in and still no pain . Didn't even have to take meds. The tech was great too.

I will NEVER go to this place again, and I will never suggest anyone else come here either..most of the people in this office have ZERO empathy and are extremely rude.i know my mother also came here and was told " we don't allow people to spit in our sink, so spit back in the cup and we will throw it in the trash"..I was shocked hearing that..that is so unhygienic it's disgusting.. I see a dentist now who is amazing and everyone is kind and professional in the office..his name is Dr Harvey winters..your people could benefit from learning from them..how to properly take care of a patient and how to be professional. I wouldnt give any stars for this place honestly, but you can't make a review without at least one. I don't know what happened to this place from a few years ago but now its ridiculous how Cold, rude and unprofessional your people are. Maybe retrain your people on how to be kind professional or just get all new workers.

My first two appointments, they saw my promptly at the scheduled time. This time I waited for 45 minutes for the doctor to spend less than 3 minutes in the room with me before he dismissed me.

My son had all 4 wisdom teeth removed in December 2021. We paid in full before the service was done. We have that receipt. About a month ago we received a bill from them saying we owe another $1200.00 because our insurance company wouldn't pay. Well, after looking into it - they never did a pre-authorization...so they then say we owe that too. What a nightmare their office staff is. Do not use this place if you can help it.

Billing department is awful. Has to be the worst medical billing department in the state. I have been calling since February trying to get the overpayment that they owe me. It's been 5 months. This was the same situation I went through with my other child. It took 2 years to get it back. They also forgot about my daughter while they went to lunch. Finally they released her once they realized that they forgot about her. I wouldn't recommend them.

Surgery went well but don't expect them to take your call if you have any complications afterwards

Seriously, avoid this place. Go somewhere else. Their receptionist is rude and has a holier-than-God-himself attitude about her. Both times I went there, she got annoyed and the second time I went there, she knew I was in my post-partum period and wanted to get in my face. The nurse there has the same attitude, only worse. She gave an attitude because I don't have the money to pull from thin air to have anesthesia. She told me the insurance company wouldn't cover it. I called the insurance company and they told me they need a prior authorization and that the staff there should have done it if they deemed it necessary to have it done. Once I said I had called the insurance company, that is when her attitude changed. Not only that, nobody ever told me until I was getting ready to schedule an appointment that it would cost as much as it did.

Such great care and concern for me as a patient and Dr. Jeremy Lassetter was very thorough. All the assistance in the room were great at answering all my questions as well.

I was referred here by another oral surgeon who was unfortunately booked for months. Given his reputation locally, I trusted him, despite feeling like I'd wasted almost 2hrs in his office for a consultation alone (that changes...keep reading). I was pleasantly surprised when I received a phone call from AOMS confirming the referral and asking when I'd like to schedule. The woman I spoke with was so nice, she actually looked up how long my drive would be for me to make scheduling easier. 90+ minutes seemed reasonable enough so we scheduled my appointment for same day consultation and extraction. I ran into a hiccup when I had a question about my extractions, and called. Unfortunately, the line just rang and rang. Befuddled, I messaged the Facebook page. I received a response almost immediately asking for basic contact information and apologizing for the phone issue. Within minutes of providing it, I received a phone call from a Chief Operating Officer again apologizing profusely for the inability to get thru. After answering a few questions about my experience and telling him my reason for calling, he assured me I would be receiving a call from someone with clinical experience. Don't you know, while I was on the phone with him, I got that call! Now that my anxieties were eased not only by the outstanding caliber of care from everyone I'd spoken with (from receptionist to COO) I was able to remain calm about my upcoming appointment. I was called several times to confirm my appointment, I received text alerts right up until the morning of my procedure. When I arrived, after finding more than ample parking (they even have dedicated spaces!) I was greeted by a friendly face and was barely able to sit down before I got called to walk back. I expected to be stuck waiting, but I never did. I have terrible anxiety and the vibe of this place kept me grounded. The referring oral surgeon sent over my whole mouth x-ray ahead of time, so I'm sure that helped but Dr Chang and his team were amazing. Extremely personable, and compassionate. Everything was explained to me, all of my questions were answered. I was in and out within an hour. The aftercare instructions are clear cut and simple, the care package they give you helps a ton and they're prompt with sending prescriptions. If there's such a thing as a perfect experience at an oral surgeon, this was it!! If only I could find a dentist like this...

WORST !!! makes you pay 200$. For consultation if you miss the first appointment even if your insurance covers it they don't care how far you live they don't have any consideration if you live a distance away very unprofessional the day of my appointment my meds were not prescribed like it was supposed to . Now tm in the morning I'm going to have to reschedule because i won't be pre med because they were NEVER prescribed

My husband had an extraction at Adirondack a few weeks ago. Beware of hidden costs and murky explanations of their charges by reception staff that are obviously unhappy to be there. They participate in our plan. I was told they would charge for x-rays. Since we already paid for x-rays (taken a few days prior) from his regular dentist, we were led to believe the x-rays being sent from his dentist would suffice. On the day of the procedure, my husband was ushered into a room where they took a full mouth x-ray, not covered by insurance. After that cost was already incurred, he was put into the procedure chair, in pain and nervous about a tooth extraction. That is where the "explanation" of financial responsibilities was discussed and his consent signature was taken. AFTER the cost was incurred. Efforts to later resolve this with the practice manager were unpleasant as she became increasingly rude as the conversation progressed. I regret recommending this practice to my husband, even though his regular dentist did not refer him there. I had 2 procedures there many years ago and they were a professional operation back then. How sad they have become this way. The NYS Consumer Bill of Rights mandates that patients be given clear explanations of procedures and cost. I believe Adirondack deliberately uses technical terms to describe x-rays so that a non-medical person can't tell the difference. Waiting until after the cost is incurred and the patient is in the procedure chair to obtain a signature is questionable at best. Wont' go there again. Note the repetitive responses from them on previous negative reviews. Bad news.

Absolutely the most rudest offices workers! Refuse to make an appointment without an insurance number and the office manager doesn't even call you back! Thank God there are choices call a different oral surgeon! This place is horrible

Scheduled an appt and was misinformed on the insurance they covered. When they called me to give information over the phone, my cost out of pocket was over $1000... When the out of pocket should've been nothing- if the woman who I originally spoke to was informed on the insurances her job takes. Unfortunate because they have great availability and do great work.. Disappointing to say in the least.
