Dr. Abiodun Adesanya graduated in 1983 from the University of Ibadan, College of Dentistry, Nigeria. He completed two years of postgraduate training in Nigeria, two years of residency training in Hospital Dentistry at Meharry Hubbard Hospital in Nashville, TN and General Dentistry at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Adesanya s passion is to enhance the total oral health, function and smiles of his patients. Dr. Adesanya has been named one of the Washingtons Area Top Dentists in 2005, 2007, 2008 and every year thereafter.
He received Prince Georges Countys 2012 Best Dentist award from the Bowie Patch. He attends several dental seminars yearly, enjoys reading dental journals, and has kept abreast of the latest dental techniques and technology to better serve his patients. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Maryland Dental Association, and Bowie/Crofton Dental Study Club. When spending time out of the office Dr. Adesanya enjoys keeping in touch with family and friends.
Dr. Ogunsemi (Dr. O) was born in Lagos, Nigeria but grew up in Dallas Texas. He is a graduate of University of Texas at Arlington. He obtained his Dental degree from Howard University and then completed his residency at Coney Island Hospital in New York.
A native of Maryland, Kaireen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Allegany College of Maryland in 2003. Prior to attending Dental Hygiene School, Kaireen held positions in this practice in front office and as a Dental Assistant. In fact, Kaireen has worked in this practice since 1994. She is certified in Dental Radiography and in Whitening procedures.
Kaireen has also received training in the treatment and management of special needs and pediatric patients. She is very caring, gentle, and strives to stay abreast in her field through participation in continuing education. On her off time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Megan completed her Dental Assistant training at Anne Arundel Community College in May 2007. She is a certified Dental Radiation Technologist. In 2009, Megan returned to AACC for additional training to earn her certificate as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant.
Since September 2007, Megan has been sharing her compassion and kindheartedness with our patients. She is good at making them feel comfortable. Megan is positive and bubbly as some of our patients would say. Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and son and entertaining family and friends.
Born in St. Martin, and raised in the U.S. Virgin Island, Adelene moved to Maryland/Washington, DC area in 2001. She entered the field of dentistry in 1990 as a Dental Assistant and received an AA Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005. Adelene is a member of the Greater Baltimore Dental Association, and the American Dental Hygiene Association.
She joined the practice in 2007, and our patients appreciate her gentleness. She prides herself on her openness to new ideas and her ability to network for the advancement of patient care. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, shopping and visiting family and friends.
Born in El Salvador, Deysi moved to the U.S. at the age of fifteen. Deysi has enjoyed working in the dental field for the past 17 years. She joined our practice as a Dental Assistant in February of 2016 and has since been providing our patients with great quality care and compassion. Outside of the dental office she loves to spend time with her husband and children, volunteer at her church, and read novels.
Cheryl has been in the dental field for over 30 years, and has spent the last four yearsserving our patients. She strives daily to accommodate the needs and requests of the patients to ensure that their experience in our practice goes beyond their expectations. Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, and loves gardening.
