Dr. Sabrina Cheng was born and raised on Long Island, and graduated from Barnard College with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. She then pursued and enjoyed a career in high school science education, completing her masters degree while teaching Biology and Chemistry in Manhattan. Having never forgotten her passion for the medical field and art, she changed careers to pursue dentistry at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Sabrina then completed her one year general practice residency at Winthrop University Hospital, and particularly enjoyed working with kids and adolescents. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, NYS Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Sabrina currently lives and practices in New York as a general dentist, and looks forward to joining the team to provide excellent care to our older patients at Adelberg and Montalvan!
Dr. Amanda Albin grew up in Central New Jersey and completed her undergraduate education at Tufts University. At Tufts, she received a Bachelor of Science in biopsychology with a minor in art history. She then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Albin went on to complete her postgraduate training in Orthodontics at Stony Brook University, as well as a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. She is also Board Certified for the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Albin loves being part of the team at Adelberg-Montalvan where she enjoys treating both children and adults. She treats patients with both braces and Invisalign. Dr. Albin enjoys getting to know her patients and making them feel both comfortable and happy while under her care. She practices mainly at the Nesconset office.
In my free time, I love to cook with my husband. We enjoy making all different cuisines, but our favorite is cooking Indian since we love spicy food. I also enjoy traveling, painting with acrylics, and spending time with my Cavapoo puppy (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/ toy poodle mix) named Pepper.

No words, the place itself is amazing/clean decor better than Disney. Hygienist/doctor/ front desk so helpful and pleasant. My son was so excited and comfortable.

Amazing experience bringing my toddler there for the first time! The staff was welcoming and patient with him. Extremely efficient and kid friendly.

I had the worst experience with Adelberg & Montalvan. We have been going there since my daughter was 2 and they always told me everything looked good. We went this summer for our 6 month check up and they did x rays (to my surprise for the first time) ever and discovered 8 cavities with one being so bad that she needed a crown. If they had recommended X-rays previously we would have done it and my poor daughter wouldn't have been put through all of this. The staff was argumentative with me when I told them I was upset that they never suggested X-rays previously and said my daughter was "behavioral." I am beyond disgusted by their negligence and exploitation of children for money.

Have been seeing Dr. Mark for eight years, he, his assistants, and hygienist are amazing with both my kids. Staff is also so friendly.

The team here is so good with children. My son felt so comfortable at our visit today due to the super interaction with the hygienist. She was so friendly and positive which made him relaxed and a willing participant to get his cleaning done quickly.

My son is always anxious about visiting new places. I was blown away at how cooperative he was. and how patient the staff were with him. They walked through every step with him and were so friendly. When I asked my son if he wanted to go back he said "YES!". Added bonus with the toys and the games in the waiting area.

I have two kids, (4 and 1) who are both terrible at the doctor's office, so I put off the first dentist visit for a while. My 4 year old won't even step on the scale at the pediatrician but walking into this office was like stepping into a play place. The under water theme was exciting for the kids, the interactive games in the waiting room kept him so busy playing that there was no anxiety waiting to get into the exam room. The staff was so kind and made the visit really easy for both of us. My son sat right in the chair, put on some cool sunglasses provided by the hygienist and was totally ready to go when she asked him to open his mouth. He left saying he had so much fun! My one year old was really tough still, but everyone there was very helpful in making her visit quick and as painless as possible. The best experience I could have asked for.

Dr. Ericka is fantastic!!! She explained the procedure beforehand step by step. When she started work she was explaining everything while she was doing it.

Dr alyssa & Carmen saw my 3 kids today in west Islip and had a fabulous visit! Everyone from Stacey & francesca to Carmen, Joanna and dr Alyssa treated my kids with such kindness. I will recommend this practice to everyone I know!

My kids love this dentist and look forward to going. They do a great job keeping the kids distracted and entertained. The office is beautiful. The staff is so knowledgeable and explains everything to the parents. We never feel rushed. Highly recommend.

I recently brought my 6 year daughter here . She is extremely scared of going to the dentist from a prior experience somewhere else. This office came highly recommended so I decided to give them a try. I am so happy I did, from the front desk to the doctor, everyone is wonderful!! Dr. Alissa is so patient and kind , the assistant was so caring. They did my daughters filling , done in less than 10 mins. No needles!!! We will be coming here for years to come!! Thank you guys so much

Very nice please with great emergency help! Our child accidentally knocked her tooth out and I was able to get a appointment for the same day even being a new patient. The dentist was extremely helpful and reassuring that she would be completely fine and was very kid to our child as well and didnt even cry. By the time we left our oldest was hoping it was her turn with the dr. Definitely recommend!
