Your safety and comfort are of paramount importance to us! We use Dexis Platinum, which is the latest generation of digital imaging systems, to provide us with the most diagnostic images of your teeth possible while keeping your radiation dose as low as possible. We have this technology available for both individual x-rays as well as with our 3D panoramic system. In addition to the benefits to our patients, these systems are environmentally responsible since we no longer use chemical developer or fixer to develop x-rays; the images appear on our computer screens instantly!

We exceed all government recommended guidelines for sterilization and disinfection in our office. We use disposable products, shields, and covers whenever possible and all of our dental instruments (including handpieces and drills) are ultrasonically cleaned, wrapped, and sterilized after each and every use. We use a third-party vendor to monitor the effectiveness of our autoclaves in order to assure sterility. Ask any of our doctors or one of our team members if you have any questions or concerns about our sterilization protocols!

Your privacy is also important to us. We are using electronic medical records (EMR) so that your medical, dental, and financial records are protected and encrypted in our computer system. Any paperwork which has sensitive information will be shredded before it is disposed of.

One of the reasons many patients delay dental treatment is that they are anxious or afraid of the dentist. Relax! Our dentists understand your apprehension and will do everything in their power to make your experience in their office comfortable and pain-free! We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as well as numerous prescription medications that will reduce your anxiety both the night before and day of your procedures. Most importantly, our doctors will give you the time and care necessary for you to be comfortable before any procedure is started.

Dr. Ralph Attanasi was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and then worked as a dental research scientist at New Yorks Rockefeller University. Dr. Attanasi determined that while he enjoyed working in the scientific arena, he missed the human connection that comes with direct patient care.

Dr. Attanasi decided to follow his passion and attended New York Universitys College of Dentistry where he earned a DDS degree in 1991. Dr. Attanasi then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

While he enjoyed many aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Attanasi found that he received the most personal satisfaction when he performed complex prosthetic treatment. Dr. Attanasi decided that he would pursue a specialty degree in Prosthodontics and graduated from the University of Michigans three-year prosthetic residency program with a certificate and Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Attanasis peers bestowed Fellowship status upon him in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists as well as membership in the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy. Less than 3 percent of dentists worldwide are honored with fellowship in these academies.

As a dedicated member of organized dentistry, Dr. Attanasi has risen through a number of elected positions and is the president of the third largest dental association in the United States, the Florida Dental Association. He has held many other elected positions including Trustee to the FDA, President of the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, and President of the South Palm Beach County Dental Association.

Dr. Ethan Pansick was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated cum laude from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York and then attended New York Universitys College of Dentistry. After earning his DDS degree in 1991, he continued his formal dental training with a one-year General Practice Residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

During this time, Dr. Pansick realized that the intricacies of complex oral rehabilitation demanded further training. He then graduated from the University of Michigans three-year specialty program in Prosthodontics where he received a certificate as well as a Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics.

In addition to the private practice of dentistry, Dr. Pansick lectures extensively for several dental implant companies. His areas of expertise are computer designed and manufactured dental implant abutments and immediate load dental implants. He has been invited to speak at numerous venues including the American Dental Association Annual Session, the American College of Prosthodontists Annual Session, and Dental XP. In addition, he was a featured speaker at the AstraTech World Congress in Gothenburg, Sweden the birthplace of modern dental implants.

Dr. Pansick is also involved in organized dentistry and serves as the Speaker of the House for the Florida Dental Association. He is one of 17 members nationwide of the American Dental Associations Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs and has served as Peer Review Chair for South Palm Beach County Dental Association for the past 10 years.

Dr. Pansick was recently honored with fellowship status in both the American College of Dentists as well as the International College of Dentists; an accomplishment achieved by less than 3 percent of dentists worldwide.

We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new state state-of-the-art facility in building IV of the Addison Medical Professional complex on Linton Boulevard just east of Jog Road in Delray Beach. While we have been in practice in Delray Beach for the past 18 years, our new office represents a giant leap forward in technology and quality of care for our patients. Since many of the patients that we see need extensive treatment, we may also obtain impressions or molds of your teeth in order to fully assess your dental condition. Photographs are often taken at this visit as well so that our doctors and laboratory technicians can discuss your case in detail once you leave the office.

In addition, this will allow you to have plenty of time to think about what is being proposed and to have time to ask questions and have them answered to your satisfaction. We encourage you to bring your spouse or significant other to these visits if you so desire.

We may recommend other in-office oral cancer diagnostic tests on higher risk patients. Traditionally, cigarette smokers and those patients that smoked and have stopped have been at higher than average risk for oral cancer. However, recent studies have found that younger patients who have never smoked may be at high risk for oral cancer as well. Our doctors will discuss advanced screening methods with you if they feel that you are in one of these groups. As always, feel free to ask our doctors about anything that concerns your health!
