I grew up in Sydney, Australia and moved to the San Fernando Valley at the age of 15, and have been living here ever since. Family is invaluable, and when I am not working,I love spending time with them. In addition, I enjoy traveling overseas, reading, and staying active.
An orthodontist is a dental specialist who has received two to three years of additional training and experience. Your orthodontist is able to straighten teeth, correct misaligned jaw structure, and improve the function of your smile.
If you want to improve the look and feel of your smile, then any age can be a great age to see the orthodontist. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children first visit an orthodontist around the age of seven; however, orthodontic treatment is not exclusive to children and teens, with about one in every five orthodontic patients being over the age of 21. Whether you're considering treatment for yourself or for a child, any time is a good time to visit the orthodontist.
The amount of time spent in braces will vary depending on the individual patient, because every smile responds differently to treatment. Treatment times can take anywhere between six and 30 months, but most standard treatments take about 22 months.
With braces, you should brush your teeth at least three times a day to keep your teeth, gums, and mouth healthy and clean. Brushing regularly will help remove any food that may be caught between the braces. You should also floss daily to get in between your braces where your brush isn't able to reach. Your orthodontist can show you how to properly brush and floss once your braces are placed.

This causes bacteria to build up that can lead to cavities, gingivitis, and gum disease. Your dentist will work closely with your orthodontist to make sure that your teeth stay clean and healthy while wearing braces.
Playing an instrument or a contact sport may require some adjustment when you first get your braces, but wearing braces will not stop you from participating in any of your school activities. If you play a contact sport, it is recommended that you wear a mouthguard to protect your braces or appliance.

Dr . Adamian is one of the best orthodontists I have known. My two sons come here for bicorrection and braces and they've made lots of progress thanks to her plan. The office has always treated us well and have been super friendly and are always consistent with their appointment times. I've recommended her to many of my friends and they have been just as satisfied as I have. Price wise her office is a little more expensive, however in my opinion it is well worth it because the results are outstanding .Update 4/28/21 The front office has new personal is not friendly when they talked to you regarding appointment/Payments or anything they need to tell you she talks to you in a very condescending way. I can't wait for my son to finish the work he is having done so I can stop visiting this place. Even though the dr is a sweetheart her front office staffs is ruining her office. Won't be telling my friends about it.

This office has the best Dr and staff they all make a great team! Always working together to make patients feel comfortable, I have been coming to this office for 3 years and it has always been a great experience! The front staff always greets me by my name with a smile, that tells me a lot, they know us patients and truly care about us! I also love the fact that the office is always very clean. For anyone that is looking for a new Ortho office I would definitely recommend you give this office a call!

Update 11/11: I was told appointment protocols have changed since my last visit/complaint. It seems true because I haven't experienced any issues since then. I love business that genuinely cares about customer feedbacks and makes effort towards better service! Great job! Dr.Adamian is amazing and professional! But what's with the wait time? What's the point of making an appointment if you always have to wait at least 20 mins? I had a 1-hour appointment today but waited 40 mins, patiently, finally I saw a chair available but they called the person who came in 20 minutes after me. ?????? I ended up rescheduling because my 1 hour was fully spent in the waiting room and I had to go. Whoever worked on paitient appointments today needs to do a better job.

The office is nice and clean. My issues are with scheduling appointments and wait times. They try to book your appointment further than 6weeks which is not okay since it will delay overall treatment! Appointments on Fridays or Saturdays are impossible to get. Lately I've had to wait 1hr just to be seen and then here comes someone that just came in and they get seen first; that is just mind-blowing! Thankfully my son is almost done with his treatment because it is very stressful having to fight to get appointments scheduled at 6weeks which is what the contract says! If you are okay with waiting 1+ hour to be seen then this place is okay. Dr. Adamian seems to know what she's doing but if they could just their scheduling in order it would be much better for everyone.

When I started my full mouth clear braces here 2years ago, loved them from the start. My experience was very pleasant with Dr Adamian and her staff. I could talk to them about any issues or concerns I was experiencing and they were all very helpful in assisting me to find solutions. I finally got my braces off earlier this year and I love the final results. I highly recommend them for any Orthodontic work to all my family, friends, and whoever gets the opportunity to read this review.

I always get really nervous when it comes to anything having to do with my teeth, but Dr. Adamian and the whole staff have been so patient and understanding with all my questions and concerns. I am about halfway through my invisalign treatment. I have had a bad experience in the past with braces and was really anxious about going through that again, but the whole process here has been very smooth and pleasant. I highly recommend!

Could not recommend this office enough. I was bouncing around between a few orthodontists while planning a corrective double jaw surgery. And I am glad I chose this office. They were excited to take on this challenge. And we're very organized with the surgical team to coordinate the braces portion so that I would be able to have my surgery during a break from school so that I would not have to be a semester behind. Overall the staff and Dr.Adamian are meticulous and always in a great mood. The environment is very clean and they cater to all ages. Again I could not recommend Dr.Adamian enough. If I could I would rate them 100 stars out of 5.
