Dr. Adam Saunders grew up locally in the town of Pinetops, N.C. While growing up, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America, during which time he earned his Eagle Scout designation and cultivated his love for the outdoors. In 1999, Dr. Saunders graduated with honors from East Carolina University. After East Carolina University. Dr. Saunders graduated from Dental School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. He scored in the 99% percentile, of all dental students in the nation, on both national board exams.
Since then, he continues his love of learning in the dental field through numerous continuing education courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. The courses include those with Dr. Frank Spear and Dr. Gordon Christensen. He has been in the Tar River study club since 2003. In addition to his passion for dentistry, he has a love of sculptural art, which carries through to his dental work. In his free time, Dr. Saunders likes to experiment with new cooking recipes and with creative photography. He lives in Rocky Mount with his wife, Mandy, his high school sweetheart.

I have had the privilege of being a patient of Dr. Saunders since 2003. He is extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled. His staff is always friendly and go out of their way to make your visit pleasant. It is obvious that Dr. Saunders truly cares about his patients! I do not believe that you can any better. Thank you Dr. Saunders and staff!!

Dr. Saunders is an amazing dentist. I've gone to him for several years now and have bragged about him since day one. His personality is calming and relaxing. He delivers painfree dentistry. I highly recommend going to see him and his friendly staff.

Dr. Saunders is fantastic. He has a great bedside manner and actually listens to your concerns. He was able to answer all my questions, made me feel completely at ease, and did amazing work. I can now smile with confidence.

Go see Dr. Saunders! I can honestly say I enjoyed my dental visit. Dr. Saunders is great. He is a personable guy, yet professional. I felt comfortable in the chair (which is is incredible feat) and know I made the right decision coming to see him.
