  • Jan Evans Registered Dental Hygienist I am a native Texan who grew up in South Austin. I fell in love with dentistry as a young girl being an orthodontic patient for 4 years myself. I was the patient always asking for a mirror to watch what they were doing to my teeth. At the end of my treatment, my orthodontist asked me 'Would you like a job?'. I worked for him my junior and senior year of high school through a program called 'Health Occupations'. I graduated from Crockett High School with a Honor Society Scholarship. I attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated from the dental hygiene program with an outstanding achievement award as top of my class. I joined the Adair Dental family in 2000, when they expanded to their new office. We have a wonderful team of experienced dental health professionals who support each other and love our patients. I take great pride in providing my patients with individualized dental care in all phases of life. From happy visits to graduation, I strive for decay free checkups with each of my patients. I love helping my patients learn how a healthy mouth is essential to good overall health. I married my high school sweetheart and we have had an incredible life together. We have enjoyed camping, hiking, and four-wheeling in the mountains of Colorado, snorkeling in the Yucatan, exploring Alaska, kayaking in Texas and Idaho, and mountain biking whenever we can. Our newest adventure is riding our BMW motorcycle through the Hill Country. I personally love practicing yoga, gourmet cooking, and xeroscaping my yard for wildlife.
