Dr. Greg Johnson has been providing exceptional dental care to the Topeka area since 1980. He believes that his patient-focused team of dental professionals provides each and every patient with compassion and understanding, as well as providing them with the most current technologies and treatments catered specifically to each patient.

Dr. Greg received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1980 after graduating from Washburn University. While attending Washburn, Dr. Greg not only played for the WU basketball team, but he also met his wife Kathy. They are the proud parents of two sons and grandparents to six young grandchildren.

Dr. Greg has completed extensive dental occlusion training at both the Pankey Institute and the Dawson Academy. He is a member of the Topeka District Dental Society,Kansas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He has also been active in Childrens Dental Health Month, the Topeka District Dental Society, Peer Review Committee Chair, Kansas Mission of Mercy, Donated Dental Services and Shawnee County Medical Society Health Access.

Following in his fathers footsteps, Topeka native Dr. Eric Johnson has been practicing dentistry since his graduation from University of Missouri Kansas Citys dental school in 2007. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, from the routine to the complex, with a focus on preventative care. He prides himself on being sensitive to those who experience fear or anxiety at the dentist and his ability to put them at ease.

Prior to dental school, Dr. Eric graduated from Pittsburg State University where he played football. He was named Division II All American and was his teams co-captain. He stays active in the sport by volunteering for the Washburn University Athletic Departments mouthguard program.

Dr. Eric is a member of the Topeka District Dental Society, Kansas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He volunteers his professional services for Shawnee County Health Access, Donated Dental Services, Kansas Mission of Mercy and Shepherds Center Topeka. He also visits Topeka area elementary schools during Childrens Dental Health Month and teaches them the benefits of proper home care and nutrition, and its impact on their oral health.

Dr. Eric and his wife, Jessica, have two young daughters and are dog lovers. In his free time, Dr. Eric enjoys playing guitar and has a band with other dental professionals that was formed while they were in dental school. They have played benefit concerts for TARC, the Marian Clinic and the Ronald McDonald House in Kansas City. He and his wife also volunteer and foster dogs for Pawsitive Tails, a local rescue group.

Dr. Eric and his team love treating patients of all ages and providing them a wide variety of services. Recognizing the relationship between oral health and overall health has never been more important. He and the Ad Astra team are patient-focused and providedental servicesfor each patient with compassion and understanding. They look forward to helping patients, both current and new improve their oral health.

Kristine was born and raised in Topeka. She started out as a dental assistant in 1987 working with a couple general dentists and moved to pediatric dentistry. In 1992 she transitioned into the administrative/business side of dentistry. Ad Astra Family Dentistry has been her home for the last 5 years.

She loves listening to music, especially live music entertainment. Her and her husband Eric are grandparents and love having their kids and grandchildren close. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends, traveling, camping, four wheeling, fishing and any outdoor activity.

Kate graduated from Johnson County Community College in 2017 and was selected to be inducted into the Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society. She has worked at Ad Astra Family Dentistry for 3 years.

Kate likes spending time with her family, especially her two nephews. She enjoys baking, cooking, gardening and restoring furniture. Along with her boyfriend, she is currently restoring a vintage travel trailer/camper and hopes to take it soon to many National Parks.

Melissa is a busy mom with 3 wonderful kids. She enjoys gardening, canning, baking, camping, boating, and playing board games with her family. She is currently busy painting and fixing up her house with her boyfriend. Melissa loves live music, which she misses since COVID restrictions are in place.
