An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

BEWARE! They will suggest unnecessary procedures to get more money out. Very unethical practice. Then the hygienist questioned if I had really been going to the dentist every 6 months. Update: I went to different dentist to get a second opinion and it was a completely different story. Turns out I did not need all of the extra work that was recommend.

Absolutely horrible experience. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist. Dr. Bonner was extremely pushy about lots of unnecessary procedures. Then when it came time for the actual cleaning, the only thing I tried to go for, she began picking at my gums "to take measurements" which I've had done many times before. Dr. Bonner kept applying pressure until she could draw blood trying to convince me that my oral health was terrible. I will never be returning here and would encourage anyone else looking for a dentist to be very cautious.

This has been the most great experience, my daughter had to have an emergency root canal and crown. Between Sydney and Dr Bonner we will not be going anywhere else for dental treatment. My daughter is so pleased and has complained at all. Way to go Acworth Smiles for making this process so incredibly easy. If I could give you platinum stars I would. Thank you for all you care and concern.

I had an emergency and the Acworth Smiles saw me on spur of the moment! Dr Bonner is amazing and was very kind to me and gentle as I was in extreme pain. Sidney and other staff was amazing as well, very accommodating. There was a little confusion with the girl at the front desk regarding my insurance but it all came out in the wash. A little more empathy would have been nice on her part. Overall, great office and staff and I'll definitely make this my permanent dental home!!

Im a new patient for this office and Scheduled an appointment to get my teeth cleaned/ examined a month ago, when I arrived they told me that I couldn't get my teeth cleaned very last minute and that I needed to wait another month to do it. Took off work early for nothing, will not be coming Back.

Dr. Bonner, Jennifer and team are fabulous. I'm not a dentist person like most however same day crowns and cleanings for your convenience was a plus for me. Not only do they invest in me but the community as well. Best hygienist ever.. thank you Jennifer.

I went here some time ago to get a annual cleaning here, they recommended a bunch of unnecessary dental procedures and seem more interested in making profit then caring for the health of my teeth. There was a dental tech didn't really seem to want to give me a cleaning and tried convinced me come back another day (meaning, I almost didn't get to do the thing I came there to do), she seemed to lack proper people skills and was unbelievably rude to me without any effort. She seem angry about having to do the cleaning and was extremely harsh with my teeth. She book my next appointment without my permission and her behavior really brought down the mood I got a second opinion on one of the dental procedure and turns out there was a nerve near that teeth and if it was pulled out without care, it would've of cause permanent nerve damage and left my lip paralyzed. This was scary to hear and I was extremely lucky to find a good, competent dentist.

I'm so happy with the service and care I have received at this dental office. I had deep cleaning, a crown and whitening performed. They are thoroughly professional, kind and friendly. Dr Bonner, Alaina, Kim and Shanell are the best! I left very satisfied and with a bright smile!

Went here several years ago and am now writing bc I didn't want any backlash then. I went here twice and each time the Dentist pushed me to have a "consultation" with their in-house endodontist for my "gum recession". The doctor/dentist really push for unnecessary procedures that could lead to complications. I would not recommend bringing your family here because if you're not aware of their profit seeking initiatives at the safety of their patrons then you may end up in the chair being poked, scraped (at best)for no good reason except to drive up their sales profit. *I also went to get second opinions from my former dentist and also a friend dentist and both said any gum work was unnecessary.

I have come here for a few years and have had a number of services. Staff is very friendly, this office bills honestly, and the dental services have been great. Wisdom teeth, cleanings, fillings, evaluations.

I move every few years for work, so I've gone to many dentists & this is, by far, the best office I've ever been to. Dr. Bonner is exceptional with a conservative approach. She aims for the best care with the minimum treatment necassary. I love that! The staff is ALWAYS friendly, expedient, and professional. I'm sincerely disappointed to have to leave this office.

Dr Bonner was a refreshing change to the majority of dentists I have been to. She took the time to listen to me and took longhand notes (yes she wrote my comments down!!!). She explained my options and let me know she was willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish that goal. The associates in her office were also great. Sorry I didn't make note of their names but will the next time I go. I would recommend Dr Bonner to anyone looking for a better experience.

I'm normally seen at the cartersville office however I came to this office to have my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Shin was awesome, I am prescribed certain medications that in the past have caused doctors to leave me with no post op pain control whatsoever. This was not the case here he ensured that I would have every option available to every other patient should I (and my other doctor) decide to go that route. I can honestly say in 10 years this is the first time this has ever happened and I couldn't communicate in written correspondence how grateful I am. The stigma surrounding some of my other medications has greatly reduced the standard of care I typically receive but Dr. Shin and his team did not flinch and I am truly truly truly grateful.
