Dr. Yen Tran, DMD was raised in Atlanta, GA. She graduated with a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Georgia in 2008 and a M.S degree in Biology from Mississippi College in 2009. Dr. Tran obtained her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston in 2013 and completed her AEGD residency from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas in 2014.
As a family-focused dentist in Acworth, GA, Dr. Tran continues to study extensively to stay knowledgeable about new dental technology, techniques, and research in order to provide the best care possible. She loves getting to know all of her patients at our Acworth dental office and works hard to help them become active participants in their dental health. Her dedication to providing top-notch care to everyone shines through in the happy smiles leaving our office!

Don't walk, run to Acworth Premier Dental Care! I have always hated going to the dentist and so usually wait till a tooth is over the top bad before going. No dental office has ever made me feel as comfortable, welcome and cared for as APDC. This tooth extraction was the least stressful and the least painful I've ever had. Thank you Dr. Tran and your wonderful staff!!!!

The pandemic has kept me away from going to the Dentist. It was well over due for me and I decided to select a new Dentist. I must say from the time I entered the office, I knew I made the right choice. Acworth Premier Dental Care is my new dental home. Thanks to all the kind staff and professionalism. The staff are punctual, personable, professional and proficient. Dr Tran is thorough and practical. Both Dr. Tran and her hygienist seem truly passionate about their work. Just moved to the area. Finding Dr. Tran was a great discovery.

Absolutely love y'all! Just from talking on the to set up an appointment for my husband I knew that this would be a great place. My husband had the best experience he's ever had at a dentist office and he really likes y'all. That right there speaks volumes!

I want to start out by saying the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed my experience and they did a great job. What I did not like was when they did my exam, I was told one price, then they came back in the room with another price, $50 more than what they quoted me before the job. I was fine with it and had the cleaning done. A few days later I get an email saying I owe $261.20 and that my insurance didn't cover everything. I called the office manager and he explained but what they failed to tell me was yes they took my insurance but my insurance was out of network, not only at my visit but even when I called to get understanding on why I owed so much more money. So I canceled a 3 month service I was going to go back for but I kept the appointment for a filling I needed done. I then get a text saying this: Hey Ms. Grier, this is Oh at Acworth Premier Dental Care. Thanks for spending time speaking with me today, and please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns after speaking with your insurance company. For now, I have removed your next cleaning and fillings appointment as you are hesitant about coming back. We will be happy to add you back on to schedule in future, so please let us know whenever you are ready to do so. Have a great weekend! I felt this was very unfair to do to someone. I really wished things were different because I really liked the office and work they did. I just can't trust them after they failed to tell me my insurance was out of network, not once but twice.

Went in for the first time recently and am highly satisfied with how my first visit went. The staff members are all professional, courteous and respectful. They do a wonderful job in making you feel welcomed when you walk in and comfortable when you are getting procedures done. They are also happy to answer any and all questions you may have (I know I had several myself LOL!). I am glad I made the choice in picking Acworth Premier because ultimately, they treated me like a friend rather than a customer. Plus, they're local so you get a neighborly vibe that you wouldn't normally get from the big corpo chains

The staff here is so patient and caring! I haven't been to the dentist in forever and they were understanding and no judgement whatsoever. Did whatever they could to make me feel comfortable. Always greet you with a smile and know who you are when you walk in the door. Also treated my mom with some severe issues, and again always make her feel comfortable, she comes out of treatment happy and laughing! I highly recommend! Especially if you're afraid of the dentist!

This is the best dental office, to the person that I have ever gone in Acworth, GA. Dr. Tran and the staff are very kind. They are great at what they do. They are very organized and quick. I got cleaning and fillings, and I didn't have any issues at all. I absolutely recommend this dental office, where I always feel welcome and cared for.

Dr. Tran is a pleasure and her staff are all very nice as well as professional. Melanie specifically went out of her way to text me after some dental work just to check in on me. I haven't had any business actually care like that in a while. They also appear to be very up to date with their tech and have nifty gadgets for like everything under the sun, which is nice to know I'm not getting antiquated treatment.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! They didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear to move forward with my dental goals, they told me exactly what I would need to be concerned with! Very caring staff, and very gentle considering it wasn't the easiest process. Can't wait for my 6 week appointment!!

Dr. Tran is amazing, very polite, and knowledgeable. The hygienists, office staff, etc. Are all very polite and helpful. I have a lot of work needing done and I felt very comfortable going here and not judged for what I needed done. I would definitely recommend them.
