Dr. Lee always explains things very thoroughly. He was able to get my son in within the hour of my call to check out his chipped tooth. Lori at the front desk is super pleasant and efficient too. Love this office!

Crazy people at the desk will yell at you when they can't figure out how to fill out the insurance claim forms. The dentist, in my opinion, is ok but "not nice" to the nice albeit incompetent assistants, I gather from my daughter. It seems that only the mean ones survive him. My kids are happier in Concord. My daughter's braces came off. He did a nice job but my super sensitive daughter has not been happy with the way she had been treated. It's been unpleasant dealing with the two crazy desk persons over the last few years.

We have been the royal customer of this dental office. My two children have been with the office since they were born. However, we got charged with $50.75 "broken appointment fee" when we brought my daughter for a cleaning service on June 9 2022. We were very surprised. We never received any bills for the broken appointments. We still paid this $50.75 at the office but we asked them to send us the list of broken appointment they claimed. A few days later we received the printout of the office appointment journal. It listed 14 "broken appointments" my two children had for the past 9 years. The latest one was on Nov 2021. We do not recall we had so many broken appointments. We did have rescheduled a couple of appointments that we called well ahead of the time. We might have one or at most two missed appointments. However they never told us we had to pay a fee, nor did we receive any bills for the fee. All of sudden after more than a year they asked us to pay $50.75. It is not even $50 which is the rule they told us for the missed appointment. On the other hand, we did receive a bill of $50.75 for my daughter's dental cleaning service in May this year. We have two dental insurances. In the past, they always get the full reimbursement from the two dental insurances. We did not pay the $50.75 bill yet and thought the office is still in the process of getting the money from the dental insurance. All of sudden, this $50.75 broken appointment fee. We are puzzled. What is going on with this office? We are going to reach out to Dr. Lee to clarify the issues.

Dr. Lee is great and the new secretary at the front desk is a welcome improvement as the last older woman was dreadful to deal with. Unfortunately, after one to many bad experiences with the only hygienist we will be transferring to another practice. Between her preachy after visit speeches and my child being yelled at for opening his "goody bag" in the office right in front of me I have officially requested my child's records to be transferred elsewhere. Be very wary when choosing this office.

Dr. Lee and the hygienists are professional and kind! However, my experience with the front desk receptionist each time has been less than exceptional. I understand that being late isn't ideal for any doctors appointment, however, when I walked in the door, she immediately said "we have a problem". Not even a hello, first. She tried calling me on my phone that I didn't have with me and then called my husband and was snappy with him. There are plenty of wonderful offices in the area, including the dentist I use. We will be switching!

I brought my then 8 year old son to have a filling & sealant done on his teeth. It was a horrible experience & my son now has major anxiety about dentists. Even Though he was screaming for then to stop because it hurt, they didn't. Get held him down. We both were traumatized. Please go somewhere else.

They wanted me to schedule an appointment in the morning but I wanted one in the afternoon so my daughter wouldn't have to miss school. They gave me a hard time about it. The lady at the desk made very rude comments to me because my 3 year old son was scared because he thought he was going to get a shot. Very unprofessional staff. They just lost business as I will not be returning.

Not sure how a routine pediatric dental cleaning resulted in my being slapped with a 75$ bill despite having dental insurance. I called and they said they'd change it from the "comprehensive exam" that they charged (on my healthy 5y old) to waive it. I just got another bill now for 37$. Not worth the headache to contest. More concerningly- (this is from the report of my highly trusted nanny) - the hygienist had a terrible way with my 2y and 5y who were new to the practice. And when my 2y was crying and scared I asked my nanny to decline the exam. I then heard later that the hygienist refused to give my 2y a sticker because of this, chastising him for not succumbing to an exam! And the cherry on top was when she told our loving nanny- who is like family to us- that the mom should come next time. Seriously? Our nanny is like a mom to them. So insulting to all of us. Best of all: My 5y said she didn't like it there and that she liked the Sudbury place we used to go to much better. My kids are really easy so their reactions to this Acton practice speak volumes. Not sure where the glowing reviews are coming from but must be a different hygienist (we had a middle aged brunette whose name I unfortunately did not get). I'll be making the longer commute to Sudbury where the hygienists know how to play with kids and make them comfortable with an uncomfortable process.

Although the dentist is wonderful and my kids have had a good experience, I will not be returning to the practice due to an overall lack of professionalism and disorganization of the staff there. I called to dispute a bill and was reprimanded, shouted down, and told how to parent. Now I have a $300 bill on my hands due to their lack of transparency in billing and general incompetence. Sadly I will not be returning.

Everyone from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the doctor was very friendly and took time to explain everything to my son who is 9 years old and was anxious about going to the dentist. They put his mind to ease, and went into detailed explanations about everything he was having done. They took there time and made it a pleasant experience for him. He loved their self foaming brushes and the prize at the end of the visit! I recommend this practice!!
