Dr. Luis G. Acosta graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1998. He next completed a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at V.A. Medical Hospital in Gainesville before establishing roots in the Orlando area in 1999. During the residency, Dr. Acosta was trained in all aspects of dentistry so that he can provide his patients with a wider range of services. Dr. Acosta is certified as an Invisalign provider and has additional education and training as a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advance Dental Studies (LVI). LVI provides aspiring dentist with advancements in cosmetic dentistry, educating them with the latest techniques that achieve exceptional, esthetic results. In his spare time, Dr. Acosta enjoys volunteering in the community by providing educational programs about oral health to elementary schools, volunteering at the Orlando Vo-Tech Dental Clinic and donating his services for Dental Organizations providing free dental care for local communities. Dr. Acosta also provides free dental services to those in need in foreign countries on mission trips through his Christian Church and Hands of Hope Ministry (Acts 20:35).
Dr. Acosta is also a member of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Greater Orlando Dental Society, Central Florida District Dental Society, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

This is honestly one of the best practices I've been to.Dr H the dentist is extremely compassionate and gentle yet very through and a true perfectionist when it comes to dental work.All of the employees are lovely and welcoming .It's a very comfortable atmosphere .I always feel relaxed there and I have dental anxiety!

Today I visited DR Acosta's office for the first time and I really had a super nice experience. Very professionals, beautiful office !! From the moment I arrived at the counter they made me feel welcome . The staff are very kind. Today I was surprised by all the exams that I have today and tomorrow I have my second appointment. They explained the procedures to me very well but the most important part is that I did not feel any type of discomfort as in previous places. This is a great establishment. I went in for a tooth restoration and Dr. Acosta did an amazing job. The tooth looks just as good as my natural tooth that it restored. He is also very prompt and accommodating and made the process very easy and painless. The office staff is very nice and respectful. Explained all issues and processes well. I recommend this dentist very much. Would give 6/5 stars if possible.

3 months ago I had my six months cleaning appointment that I set 6 months prior, they call me to tell me the office was going to be close the date of my appointment, I checked Google and the office showed open on that date, took a pic at google, Icall and they told me they decided to open and that someone else has the time of my appointment and I said that I reserved that appointment 6 months prior, so basically you cancelled mine an put someone else instead, the lady I was speaking with was very rude and told me that she was going to set an appointment for 3 moths Later, I told her no that I was going to look for another dentist, not only she set the appointment That I did not agreed with, now the office has sent me a bill for not showing up, very disappointed about your service.

Well run dental practice with friendly staff. Always in and out without much of a wait and no billing surprises, in fact they were very upfront with what the expected charges would be even with insurance which was very unexpected and welcomed. Ended up owing less than they told me. The hygienist Sherry is a gem!

Horrible dental office. Front office manager is very rude and unorganized. Did a procedure, they assured me 3 times it was going to be cover by 50%. Now i get a bill because they said they tried to submit it to my insurance but it was denied. I told her I am not paying that because i payed my 50% and she has to call the insurance company. She said she is not calling and if i don't want to call my insurance company she will put me in collections and then hung up by saying "Guess you are going to collections, bye bye.". Dont go here, rude staff and not a sanitary environment. During COVID times they do not sanitize after patients are worked on. UPDATE: spoke to insurance company who told me that they did not submit the claim correctly and did not provide a narrative on the procedure, all they did was send xrays with no explanation. Great time to call back and speak to their rude staff again.
